Chapter 544: Massive Shade

The several Sea Tribe creatures were alerted by the vibrations from the battle, they assumed that it was the powerful presence from the machine that they had moved earlier, and perhaps they might even take advantage of the situation to their own benefit.

Obviously, they were not powerful enough to invade the region where Qin Feng was at, and there were only several of them that had come.

However, the Bane Frogmen were all exposed.

Unfortunately, even if they were to freeze their movements, their lingering scent and their noises would easily expose them from the surroundings.

The frogmen sprinted at high speed and started going toward the direction Qin Feng was at!

The frogmen were speeding up and about to arrive at the building where Qin Feng was at!

The wraith devil let out an infuriated roar, however, without any available physical body for them to take over, they could only launch their attacks from their actual forms.

One of the wraith devils hid in the ground and intended to launch its attacks toward Qin Feng from beneath.

However, Qin Feng had too many skills up his sleeves!

Qin Feng instantly turned the ground into molten magma, the hidden wraith devil was instantly exposed and shrouded by fire energy magma, and a continuous blood-curdling screech was heard.

The Shade raised its arm and slapped down its gigantic palm onto the prodigies! Qin Feng was one of them too.

The prodigies' attacks on the Shade were like a human hitting on the ground. Sure, the ground's soil might have been flattened by the human hand; however, there could be stones on the ground too.

This meant that the prodigies could have been hurt by this attack while doing very little damage on the Shade.

The attacks did not hurt much. However, it provoked the Shade.

Shades were simple, emotional-reactive creatures. Their attack patterns were mainly reactive too.

Hence, in the next instant, another wave of terrifying energy rushed straight at them.

"Dragon Steps!"

Qin Feng knew he could block this attack forcefully. As such, he quickly moved away from the spot, evading the attack. A prodigy was not able to move away in time. In an excruciating cry, he was enveloped in that powerful energy wave!

Thankfully, he had several powerful, sturdy equipment on him, allowing him to survive the attack!

Nonetheless, this also meant that he had revealed his trump card. Not only that, he had now endured great damage and could be potentially retaining grave wounds.

Thus, without hesitation, he quickly waved out a dimensional portal and fled the scene.

After all, with him gone, this meant that they would have one less competitor to fight against later on!

In an instant, a massive Fire Dragon appeared before the Shade and entangled the massive arm, allowing Qin Feng to fly away.

Thus, with the combined strength of the prodigies, the gigantic Shade became weaker and weaker!

"Good! This darn monster is about to die!"

"I better get ready then!"

"Heh, no way! I'll kill all of you! The Sacred Armor is mine!"

Unlike their careful attitude earlier, the prodigies had now started to become agitated.

His consciousness had now ascended to C4-tier.

In an instant, Qin Feng was able to extend his consciousness to scan a larger area around him and realized that there were about five hundred prodigies coming their way.

Suddenly, a pillar of silver light beamed up to the sky as soon as the Shade died.

This silver light was even brighter and wider than that of the Shade, almost a hundred meters wide. Not only that the Shades that were hiding in the area too were lured to them by the silver light.

The prodigies were too occupied with the thought of fighting for the Sacred Armor and did not notice this glaring phenomenon.

Countless Shades dashed to their location in the next moment.

Nobody could figure out where the Sacred Gauntlets were, not even Bai Li. As such, she started to open up small spatial rifts, sticking her hand into them to go 'fishing'.

As for the prodigies of the other tribes, some were trying to hide while some were charging forward and fighting for their lives!

When Bai Li's spatial rift spread out to about fifty meters, the white light of the Lesser Sacred Armor finally disappeared.

"Got it!" Bai Li felt the Sacred Armor appearing within her space and immediately contacted Qin Feng via her consciousness..

"We start looting, after all its chaos everywhere. If we leave now it'll look suspicious!" Qin Feng said.

"Oh I get it! We're taking advantage of chaos!" Bai Li smiled before beginning to stay close to Qin Feng, guarding him from anyone that might come to attack them.

The moment the white light disappeared, the prodigy closest to it was immediately the subject of scrutiny.

"He took the Sacred Armor!"

"Hand it over and you won't die!"

"Nonsense! Charge him!"

These prodigies had proven their strength, if they wanted to escape he did not bother chasing after them.

He had already gained a lot from just looting the battlefield and killing off a few that tried to face him.

He receded the Fire Wall and left the area with Bai Li.

Chapter 551: The Sacred Gauntlets

Qin Feng still had Bai Li by his side, he could go wherever he wanted to because of that and ignored the countless attacking wraiths around him, disappearing from the battlefield in an instant.

The prodigies who remained did not know who was holding onto the Sacred Armor. As soon as someone looked suspicious they would immediately get attacked by those around them. It was only because of the incoming wraiths that they calmed down and joined forces to defend themselves.

It took around three hours before the battlefield completely winded down.

Qin Feng had disappeared to a safe spot long before then. With a flick of his hand he revealed up to 30 extra spatial rune equipment and deposited them inside the Battlegod Tomb.

Back at the Fengli colony, when Xue Xingfu received these new items for the first time he wanted to know just who was behind them.

The first thing he did was call Zhou Hao.

Zhou Hao was still training in the Dragon Capital, cultivating his growing strength.

"Keep this a secret. Find those who aren't loyal to the company and boot them out first!" Zhou Hao said.

"I was thinking the same thing!"

"That's good. Do some snooping around first and you can tell the Madman when he comes back!"

Xue Xingfu nodded. He was old but his mind was still sharp. He thought that people who were valuable should stay and be controlled. Unfortunately he did not have the strength to actually suppress these people.

As such, it was best if he started doing some cleaning up!

There were some people who had come out of admiration, but some others still had ulterior motives. Those kinds needed to be dealt with as soon as possible.

He had no idea that Qin Feng, the person that he and Zhou Hao put the most faith in, had gone looking for Sacred Armor!

Speaking of which, Qin Feng originally thought that once he escaped from those wraiths that the armor would stop shining. He did not expect it to still be glowing brightly even though it was inside Bai Li's space. That meant that it could not be taken out.

Bai Li meticulously studied her space and after a while she decided on adding in some Dark materials. The moment the gauntlets were retrieved they did not give off any bright white light, they had become a pair of completely black gloves.

Qin Feng picked up the gloves and closely inspected the so-called Sacred Armor.

"It's actually made of metal? Could it have been manufactured?"

He slipped the gloves onto his hands.

The gloves seemed to have a mind of their own, instantly pressing against Qin Feng's hand but not so that it would feel tight or suffocating. It felt like a layer of film that coated his hand and this coating felt natural, like he had been born with it, as if there were no gaps between his hand and the material of the gloves.

But then, a huge amount of force was suddenly felt.

When this force erupted around his palm area and entered his body, Qin Feng felt pain suddenly spread throughout his body.

This force did not flow with his meridians, nor did it seem to integrate into his body. It was like a wild series of explosions, causing massive damage.

At that moment, Qin Feng felt as if his hands were about to get crushed. He was lucky that his physical form was durable enough that he was able to withstand this pressure.

"What kind of power is this? Damn it!" He did not expect something this dangerous to happen.

"Now's our chance!" A voice suddenly rang out from the darkness. What followed was an army composed of prodigies.

These prodigies seemed to not fear death, avoiding the other Shades and dove headfirst into the behemoth's body.

They did not even try to attack, they just went in.

Qin Feng could clearly see the glowing wings on Bai Yu's back flapping, carrying her aloft as she led hundreds of prodigies toward the Shades.

Chapter 553: The Belly of The Shade

At that moment, Qin Feng did not show a trace of hesitation!

"We're going too!"

Dragon-borne were always superior in strength.

A fist came flying in. Normally it would have just been a normal punch but due to the energy around, the force of the blow had wrapped the fist with a small whirlpool.

Within the Shade Behemoth's body, it was more obvious when someone activated their powers.

Qin Feng had never thought that such a day would come when he first got the gaea crystals. He wondered whether his dantian could accommodate the energy from the Sacred Armor.

Everyone was dazzled as they fixed their sights on the middle spot of the Sacred Armor. The vibrating armor proved that the person in it was still alive.

The time passed quietly. Qin Feng was like the only person left in there. Everyone else was just watching in awe and did not make a sound, as if they had forgotten to breathe.

It had simply taken too long.

Nobody knew when the energy from the Sacred Armor would be bottomed out. Some were hoping that the person inside the armor would burst because of the gargantuan energy.

If he could withstand one minute, perhaps he could stay inside for another ten minutes.

"It still hasn't burst!" Restlessness began to creep in among the conspirators. "Will he take ownership of the Sacred Armor if this goes on!?"

"Easy! Even if he obtains the Sacred Armor, we will just kill him and rob it from him then."

"As if it will be that easy. Have you forgotten about the previous battle? It's a disaster with so many prodigies around. We wouldn't know who is going to sneak in and steal the armor away!"

They did search for the Lesser Sacred Armor after the fight from before but because it was too chaotic, they could not find the culprit in the end. Any prodigy on the scene with a piece of decent spatial equipment could have easily snuck it out and hid it.

"Besides, do you really think we can defeat the owner of the Sacred Armor easily?" The others realized the severity of the matter after receiving this message through consciousness. It was their plan to deplete the energy of the Sacred Armor through sacrifices. They certainly did not wish to see someone claim the ultimate prize right under their nose.

"Then we have to do it now! Kill him!"

Bai Yu's killing intent blew off the chart.
