And then, in the blink of an eye, they were able to see a huge plaza appearing before them—they had now stepped out of the dimensional tunnel.

However, Qin Feng knew this was the teleportation zone just outside of Dragon Capital. He turned around… and there it was—a gigantic construction appeared before his eyes. From afar, the structure looked like a rising eastern dragon. The structure was so tall that it seemed as though it was indeed a real dragon, trying to fly up and shear through the sky.

The nine other members cried out in astonishment when they saw this.

"So… So this is Dragon Capital?"

They did not expect that the Dragon Capital would be shaped like a real dragon!

It was then, a man walked toward the group from afar. He appeared to be a B-tier, wearing a unique uniform—an indication that he was part of the patrol units of Dragon Capital.

"Identifications, please?" The man opened his mouth as he scanned the group. When he saw the D-tier and C-tier badges on their chests, he could not help but frown.

However, when he saw Shang Han, his brows curved up in surprise. "Oh! Greetings, Regent Shang!"

There were only four regents in the Huaxia region—each taking up their own territory in the north, east, west and south side of the region. As such, it did not take long for the B-tier patrol to recognize her.

"Greetings. I've brought the participants for the Prodigy Tournament. Here's their identification." Shang Han answered before showing the patrol some digital documents.

After a brief check, the patrol nodded. "Identification verified. Here's the Entry Pass for the Dragon Capital. Every transaction inside the city is done via Power Credits. In order to gain entry into Dragon Capital, you'll need to pay 1000 Power Credits."

1000 Power Credits was equivalent to 10,000,000. These participants were all D-tiers; hence, they had the money. In less than a minute, they all took out their wallets and paid the fee. In less than a second, the number "1000" appeared on the Entry Pass.

"Okay, you may now enter. Just following this road will do. It will lead you straight into the city!"

"Alright."

Shang Han waved a hand and summoned a hover tank. Seeing this, Qin Feng too summoned his Silver Bolt so Bai Li, Zhou Hao and Jin Fei could ride with him in the same ride.

The others too summoned their own transportation. These were all prodigies after all —it did not matter how lowly their background was before this, right now they could all afford to own their own hover tanks—even Han Jun had his own ride!

And each of the dragon's "scale" was actually massive, impenetrable boulders.

From the looks of it, it was unthinkable just how gigantic Dragon Capital was.

Raising their heads, they could not see just how tall and wide the city was.

Qin Feng looked at his friends and opened his mouth, "No one knows just how huge Dragon Capital is. However, I do know that Dragon Capital is around 3000 meters tall. Each 100 meter is a level. The higher you go, the more powerful the people are!"

As they got closer, the hover tanks lowered down to the ground and zipped into the gate. Shang Han's vehicle was the first to enter. She rolled down her tank's window and flashed out her silver card.

It was quite apparent that Shang Han's card was different from the others—Qin Feng's and the others' were white in color.

As they scanned their identification, the gate let them through. The vehicles then drove through a passage after the gate. Everyone thought that there would be another long drive through in that fifty-meter wide passage again and be welcomed by artificial lights in the encased city. However, as their vehicles got in, their eyes widened in amazement.

The first thing they noticed was that there was sunlight. Despite the city's turtled up structure, they could see the bright sky from inside the city.

Of course, Qin Feng knew this "sunlight" and "bright sky" were fake.

"What you see above is the result of the heights of artificial climate technology in Dragon Capital. The city could maintain artificial sunlight and rain via crystal cores. There was a bitter taste in Ai Duo's mouth as he stared at Qin Feng with a cross of shock and amazement in his heart. Not only did he lose, but he had inexplicably lost.

He was a D3 ancient warrior, just how powerful was this guy? Not even a D4 or a D5 ancient warrior was that strong!

"Haha, General Ge, I look forward to seeing you hop around the Dragon Capital. Don't forget to take a video for me to enjoy!" Shang Han snickered.

"What just happened?" Ge Lang had yet to process what was happening in front of him.

"General, Ai Duo was defeated!"

"Defeated? What a joke, how long was that? Didn't I just turn my head for a second? He lost? They call this a genius? A prodigy? What absolute garbage!"

Those who originally wanted to get in Ge Lang's good books all cowered and did not dare speak. He was absolutely enraged at this point.

"General Ge, accept the loss in this bet you've made, unless it's something you can't afford to lose!" Shang Han sneered.

This scene could only be properly tracked by Shang Han and Nan Gongshi, even Qin Feng and Bai Li could only vaguely make out a blurry shape.

Shang Han expected Ge Lang to be dishonest in this bet, but he did not even blow the issue out of proportion. After all, he was going to get this bad mood out of him!

"Qin Feng, thank you. Today, I owe you a favor!" Shang Han said.

Qin Feng's expression remained neutral as usual. "If all things that require such little effort could be swapped for favors then the favor of an A-Tier is too cheap!"

Shang Han had developed a more trusting attitude toward Qin Feng by now. After all, she was moved when he came forward to help her.

After that, she did not leave the martial arts hall. On the contrary, she stayed and rented the ring. Everyone, including Qin Feng, was listening to her instructions.

Ji Ran could not help but curse loudly. "How did you even train? How old are you? Where the hell did you come from?"

Qin Feng's outrageous strength greatly intrigued Ji Ran.

Qin Feng looked back at her and recalled her future.

Ji Ran was no doubt a capable aptitude user. If he remembered correctly, Ji Ran would become an A-tier in about six years. Qin Feng had even joined forces with her several times in the past.

Chapter 540: Ruin in an Unknown Dimension

The tower guardian lectured them solemnly. Six of them listened attentively and nodded gravely in response. They were then given not one but three beacons as an extra precaution.

After that, the tower guardian was seen pressing a button. Abruptly, they realized that the space above them had opened up like a blossoming flower.

A strong gale thrusted violently through the opening. Normal people would have been blown away by the wind. Even the air in the surroundings had become thinner. The clouds had seemingly gotten a lot closer to the ground as well.

Qin Feng felt a sudden gush of energy plummeting down from the sky. He looked up and saw silver radiance gushing downward gradually like a waterfall captured in slow motion.

Powerful energy was constantly being emanated from the spatial rift. The energy was so great that it immediately flooded the entire tower.

Qin Feng could visualize the energy as if it were being poured into the Dragon Capital. He finally understood why the Dragon Capital architecture looked like the shape of a giant bowl. It was designed in such a way so that the outpouring energy from the rift could all be retained within the city.

Qin Feng wasted no time and activated his ability.

Instantly, the still swirling energy was being forcefully pulled toward Qin Feng and assimilated by him.

Qin Feng's physique became even stronger.

His skin, muscles, bones, and internal organs were absorbing the natural essence greedily.

Qin Feng directly broke through into the next stage under such a tremendous source of energy.

C3-tier! He could hardly hide his bursting aura.

Apparently, Qin Feng was not the only one that had been promoted.

As soon as Qin Feng entered the dimension, he could sense the horrifying turbulence around them in this unknown dimension. The others must have sensed it too as their faces contorted into grimaces after passing through.

They were unable to talk in here but there was no hindrance to communicating using their conscious power.

"Let's hold onto each other. We need to work together!" Long Gan shouted in his mind and grabbed Ji Ran, who in turn took Zhuang Sen. Others were too far from them, as Ai Duo and Pang Ruo clung together and formed another group.

Qin Feng was the lone corner that formed a triangle with the other two groups. He floated freely inside the whirlpool of energy and observed the others quietly. He realized that he was the only one that was not being dragged around involuntarily by the turbulent whirlpool inside this strange dimension.

Rather than joining forces with others, Qin Feng preferred to stay alone. As such, he pretended that he was trapped too and approached neither group.

A few seconds later, they fell into total darkness and the surroundings had drastically changed when they opened their eyes again.

A great gravitational force fell on Qin Feng. This place was obviously not earth. A non-aptitude user would have been crushed in such a place.

Qin Feng moved his hands and feet around and quickly adapted to the heavier downforce.

He looked around and saw a ruin not very far away.

A gust of wind passed through and a faint blinking light underneath the sands caught Qin Feng's attention.

Qin Feng walked toward it and the outline of the item quickly appeared in his consciousness realm.

'It's a rune equipment!'

Qin Feng was enthused. The equipment was completely different from those made by a human's hand. It was far more exquisite. Under the equipment laid an eerie skeleton.

This was when a force emerged out of nowhere and was wrapped around the runic equipment. It then took the appearance of a wraith that was roughly three meters tall.

Schwaff!

The wraith suddenly lunged at Qin Feng without any warning. Swords formed through supernatural power might be as deadly as a real sword.

Qin Feng frowned and raised his hand.

Boom!

His internal strength was released and hit right on the wraith's sword.

Qin Feng decided to approach the sound. When he was only about a hundred meters away from the source, Qin Feng held his breath subconsciously due to the peculiar scene unfolding in front of him.

In front of him, it was still the same ruin. There were collapsed buildings everywhere. The roads were mostly destroyed and covered by sand and dust. But in front of him, there was a corner of a sophisticated machine that clearly stood out from the surroundings.

Around the machine, there were a few odd-looking human-like creatures.

Qin Feng could hardly relate them to humans.

On one side, there were five in a group. These creatures had deep blue hair and were half-naked. Their lower body was wrapped with a type of silk fabric. It gave a false sense of transparency but Qin Feng was unable to see through it.

Opposite them was another group of buff creatures. They stood on two legs but their gums were lined with sharp fangs. There was even a tail with a different color on each of their backs.

"Roar!"

One of the tailed creatures was shouting. It was probably just a meaningless taunt. The creatures on the other side were not daunted and glanced back coldly.

From the displayed emotion, Qin Feng immediately understood something.

'They are an intelligent species!'

Soon, the conscious power between the two groups began to collide.

"The Sea Tribe still hasn't given up on this land? Dream on if you wish to obtain the power of Sacred Armor using that frail body of yours. Your lot will probably be all dried up then. Hahaha!" The tailed creatures were obviously mocking the species with blue hair.

'Sea Tribe? Are they an intelligent species from the sea?' Qin Feng thought to himself.

Numerous species from all kinds of dimensions had visited Earth when spatial rifts began to appear on the planet. Qin Feng had seen a lot in his past life. Though the two types of creatures in front of him were indeed different, it was not the weirdest he had ever come across.

"Pfft, Dragon Tribe… What are you going to do with the armor? Open a hole in it so it could hold your disgusting tail?" One of the proud sea creatures replied sarcastically. The eyes of the Dragon Tribe creatures instantly boiled with anger.

"Let's eat them alive!" A large-sized member of the Dragon Tribe dashed out first.

At the same time, one of the sea creatures flicked his finger and sent out a snowy pearl. It was not aimed at the closing in dragon-borne but on the machine.

The next moment, they could all sense that something had been woken up, including Qin Feng.

Several balls of energy accumulated rapidly and transformed into a few tens of wraiths. The wraiths then flocked the living figures around them.

"Run!" Those from the Sea Tribe shouted and summoned a wave under their feet. Carried by the waves, they got away by a few tens of meters instantly.

The dragon creatures were caught by surprise and trapped by the wraiths.

"Filthy fishes!" One of the dragon creatures chastised angrily.

"Stop ranting and kill the Shades!"

But he had comprehended enough judging by their conversation earlier.

These creatures from the Dragon and Sea Tribes must have come to this dimension with the same purpose. They were looking for something known as the Sacred Armor.

The wraith formed from an energy cluster was called Shades. It seemed that they would emerge whenever a valuable item was touched in this dimension.

'Does this mean that the machine could be retrieved once these dragon-borne clear off the wraiths?'

Qin Feng thought about it and decided to look around for more treasure in this wasteland later.

Just as he turned around to leave, he heard an angry roar coming from his back.

Qin Feng did not need to turn back to know that he must have been discovered by the dragon-borne.

The dragons stopped roaring and one of them sent him a message through telekinesis.

"Who are you? Show yourself now or I will crush you with my jaws!"

Qin Feng stopped moving and decided to see what they had to say.

He showed himself and that caught the dragons by surprise.

"Pureblood human?"

"Human means human. What do you mean by pureblood?" Qin Feng asked with a frown.

"Hahaha! I bet you are coming from a dimension where it has not been plundered yet. Now, why don't you tell me your dimension locale and I will give you a reward in return?" The creature was enthused.

Qin Feng could tell that the Dragon Tribe had ill intent toward the human race. From their tone and how they had treated the Sea Tribe, Qin Feng was also sure that the Dragon Tribe was probably ravagers.

They were probably the same kind as those intelligent creatures that had invaded Earth before. As such, Qin Feng gave them a cold shoulder.

One of the Dragon Tribe creatures made a low voice as if it was saying something while fighting the Shades. The creature that was communicating with Qin Feng, on the other hand, had opened up his maw.

"Sorry. My mate is not a patient man like me. I have no choice but to capture you first and ask the question later." It lunged at Qin Feng before he finished talking.

Its limbs were well built and his punches came as fast as the wind.

The dragon-borne was tall and had considerable weight. It was not easy to move and punch so agilely at this dimension that had greater gravitational force than Earth. Qin Feng estimated that the creature was at least a C1-tier. He reacted promptly and countered the attack with his punch.

A fist for a fist.

Boom!

The energy dissipated as the two punches met and both fists came together. A crisp cracking sound was soon heard.

"Ah!!!" The creature shrieked in pain. It could not believe its fist had been completely mutilated after the collision.

Qin Feng confirmed his hunch after the encounter. His opponent was roughly a king-tier C1. He was far superior as a C3-tier emperor.

He did not stop there and followed up the attack with both of his hands grabbing on the creature's wrists. Qin Feng then crossed both hands and yielded another cracking sound.

The opponent's shoulders were dislocated by Qin Feng easily in two swift motions.

Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!

Qin Feng's hands lashed out furiously fast and shattered the dragon-borne's hands and shoulder blades in the blink of an eye.

He then returned a message through his consciousness.

"Now tell me, why are you calling me a pureblood human?"

Chapter 542: Guardian

"Argh! Come over here and kill the human now!" The creature bellowed.

Despite Qin Feng's clear dominance, this creature from the Dragon Tribe had refused to comply and stared at Qin Feng unbendingly.

Its comrades clearly heard its cry and looked over in Qin Feng's direction. The outcome of the encounter was not how they would have expected.

"Retreat first!" One of them shouted and fled decisively.

The others ran with him and covered more than one hundred meters within seconds. The Shade did not move as quickly and returned to the machine after losing track of the Dragon Tribe.

This was when the Dragon Tribe creatures turned back and surrounded Qin Feng.

"Roar!"

They did not say anything and assaulted Qin Feng simultaneously. They did not seem to care about the one held hostage by Qin Feng.

Qin Feng sneered and let go of the defeated creature. He prepared his stance to brace for the incoming attacks.

Five creatures came in all directions to completely shut down Qin Feng.

"Asteroid Assimilation! Absorb!"

Qin Feng triggered his internal force and generated a great pulling field around him. The five assaulters were being involuntarily dragged toward Qin Feng. They were being pulled off course by the abrupt force and their five-man formation was no longer intact.

Qin Feng pumped his internal force and leashed out a force equivalent to that of a B-tier aptitude user.

He slid forward and approached one of the creatures. Then he hit the target with his elbow.

Dong!

Qin Feng's elbow hit right at the creature's chest.

Crack!

Following the bone-shattering sound, the creature spewed blood and flew out.

Qin Feng maneuvered his force field and pulled in another dragon creature near him.

Boom!

Qin Feng's heavy punch landed right on its face. The creature was sent back flying with most of its sharp fangs detached from its mouth.

The same happened to the rest of them. Qin Feng wasted little time and energy to put down all five assaulters.

They were just a bunch of toothless dragons!

The creatures could hardly accept the fact that they were being beaten so easily by a single human.

Roar!

Almost instantaneously, they transformed into a giant lizard and roared exasperatedly.

This was obviously their true form.

Qin Feng was shocked to witness the transfiguration.

'So these are actually C-tier beast kings? Is this not an intelligent species but rather a mutated creature that has taken the human form?!'

"Roar!!!" The five beast kings growled helplessly.

"Seal!"

Qin Feng used his consciousness to activate the fire trap. Numerous fire dragons emerged from the wall and drowned the weird-looking dragon creatures in a sea of fire.

The struggling and groaning of the dragons could be heard afar. But gradually, the noise died down into an eerie silence.

"Disperse!"

Qin Feng held out his hand and the flame danced back into his palm and disappeared. There were only five charred corpses left at the place where the wall was initially set.

The five dragon creatures could not be more dead.

Under the control of his mind, one after another fist-size power core burst out from the dragon's chest and flew to his hand.

This unique creature might not have as many precious materials as other dragon or wyvern species but their power core was pretty compact.

After that, Qin Feng paced slowly toward the only dragon-borne alive—The one who got beaten the hell out by him earlier.

The dragon-borne was terrified when it saw Qin Feng approach him.

In its entire life, the human race had always been viewed as a pathetically weak species. The dragon-borne had never thought that one day he would be afraid of a human.

Qin Feng used telekinesis to deliver his question once again. "Now, I think you will be more than willing to answer my question?"

Qin Feng had to repeat his question but this time he did it in an even colder tone.

The dragon-borne answered quickly, "Human is a very mysterious species among the dimensions. Their genes allow them to deliver offspring with most of the intelligent species. Some species may be very powerful but can't reproduce properly. So, they would extract the human genome or their talent to merge with their own. For instance, we, the Dragon Tribe, are created in such a manner. But the mixed-blood usually has the same fertility problem as their forefather. So pure-blood humans are our most precious samples."

Qin Feng's face was stone cold. He had never heard of such nonsense in his past life.

But he was just a commoner back then. His biggest achievement was surviving the wild and attaining A-tier with his own effort. It was never his privilege to enjoy the type of resources and opportunities that he had in this life as a prodigy.

The dragon-borne did not stop there. "You mentioned invasion, but this is usually done very, very carefully. Any world undergoing transformation would not be short of horrible creatures. If your dimension has such a powerful human like yourself at its early stage of transformation, then there's nothing to be worried about." The creature flattered Qin Feng in the end, hoping that he would spare his life for being cooperative.

Qin Feng smirked and posed some other questions, including what a Shade was and where it came from. The dragon-borne could not answer most of the questions when it came to this dimension.

In the end, the dragon-borne could not escape his ultimate fate.

Qin Feng twisted the creature's neck and ended its life.

There was no way Qin Feng would let it walk. The dragon-borne knew that he was a pureblood and the Dragon Tribe seemed pretty strong. It would be disastrous if he brought this message back to his world, then Earth would be in jeopardy.

'Long Gan and others are pureblood too. It would be calamitous if they were to be seen.'

'Then again, they have ample of beacons with them so it would not be a problem to get away safely. Besides, they are born in Dragon Capital so they must have known a lot more than I do. As for Ai Duo, he is with another Dragon Capital prodigy so they should be fine too.'

There was a highly-advanced civilization in this dimension in the distant past. The tribe that ruled this civilization was called the Soul Tribe.

The Soul Tribe excelled in honing soul power, which was equivalent to consciousness in today's term. However, they had frail physique so they invented all types of rune equipment to protect themselves. Their technology had developed rapidly thanks to their powerful consciousness.
