He was taken aback by that. I hope it sounded all right.
"The last time I remember, you were very eager to leave my chamber. Now, you want to go in?"
"Where else can we talk privately anyway?"
There was confusion in his eyes but at the same time, there was a glint of interest.
He opened the door and let me in first. He followed shortly, and closed the door behind him.
"Now let's get into business."
I bit my lower lip and inhaled some air before finally speaking. He was just in front of me, waiting.
"I understand that I offended you the last time..."
I couldn't keep my words straight.

"I apologize for that. I'm really sincere."
"Sure you are," he said with doubt. "Don't tell me you're apologizing now because you want to ask me to send you home because you don't like being here?"
I glared at him. "That's not it. I really want to apologize. I realized I was a bit harsh and insensitive."
