Amari was seen sitting down writing on her note book when lincoln comes in to be shocked,he pulls out his phone checking the time as he ceases his brow's.
"Why you still here?,works over" lincoln asks as Amari just nods as she continues her writing,"What are you writing?"lincoln asks walking towards her as he looks down at her book.
"For my presentation on Monday,am supposed to write 10k words about my experience and learning's while working here"Amari says continuing her writing as lincoln nods.
"it looks like a lot,how many have you written?"Lincoln asks as as Amari flips the pages,"Total of 2,345 words"Amari says as she continues writing but stops, dropping the pen as she covers her face with her palms sobbing.
"Am never going to get this done" Amari sobs as lincoln pats her back, "you will, you've written a lot"lincoln says as Amari shakes her head.
"its not even up to half the amount of words am assigned"Amari protest,"no you did well,you just started today" lincoln comforts her as she abruptly gets up.
"Yeah,your right"Amari says as she keeps her note pad in her pocket,"Are you done,so we can go?"Amari asks as lincoln nods.
"Cool"Amari says walking away as lincoln follows her casually from behind to the elevator as they both get in.
THE NEXT DAY
Amari got ready for school as she keeps her things in her bag,"LINCOLN!!" Amari calls out as he gets out of the bathroom groaning,"What is it?"Lincoln asks as Amari shrugs combing her hair.
"i Don't know maybe the fact am supposed to be at school an hour ago" Amari says as lincoln eyes widen.
5 MINUTES LATER
They both got in the car with lincoln in a plane black shirt and pants as he straps her in,"lets go"lincoln says as he steps on the car driving with speed as Amari eyes widen holding unto her seatbelt.
"MR ARROGANT!!!"Amari screams as lincoln speaks,"There it is"lincoln says with a grin.
AT SCHOOL
Amari rushed down the hallways in a hurry to her class to see the teacher already teaching as she stops on her tracks sighing,Kanye spots her as he waves at her.
The teacher follows the direction of his waving as she turns to the door as Amari faceplams,"fool"Amari mutters to her self with a small sigh.
"Waylen,why are you late?"The teacher asks as Amari tucks loose strands nervously,"umm..I was waiting for um...my..h...h.shit..dri-".
"forget it,stay there and wait till the end of this class to come in"The teacher says as she turns back to the class as Amari sighs as she walks away.
AFTER CLASS
Amari comes back in as Kanye hands her his notes,"thanks Kanye"Amari says flipping through the notes,"How was work yesterday?"Kanye asks as Amari nods.
"it was okay,I got to play one of Lincoln's games"Amari says as Kanye nods,"it was quite fun actually"Amari says as any just nods.
"speaking of fun,I was thinking we go to the amusement park this Saturday, like the good old days,you know me, you..".
"and Kimberly,I remember vividly our outings, would Kim be joining?" Amari asks as Kanye clears his throat,"Actually I was thinking just two of us"Kanye says as Amari nods.
"okay"Amari says as she pulls out her note book from her bag not seeing Kanye's grin,'yes'kanye says in his mind.
MEANWHILE
Lincoln was sitting in his home office playing his games as he stops,"hmm" lincoln says relaxing in his chair as he takes out his phone Calling Bernard.
"Yes boss?"Bernard responds immediately,"Any news on Marcus?" Lincoln asks,"no sir,my men have been watching him close,he seems to be doing just regular work"Bernard explains as lincoln nods.
"Still keep a watch on him"Lincoln says as he cuts the call,"what are you up to Marcus"Lincoln says as he sighs relaxing on his office chair.
SOMEWHERE
A man stared outside from the glass of his bliuding, watching the beautiful lit up city,he receives a call as he takes it with a slight chuckle.
"Is my flight ready?"Marcus asks as he turns around,"good"Marcus cuts the call as he heads to his table in his lavish apartment,he switches on his computer revealing several secretly taken photos of Amari.
"Lincoln is someone that's described as invincible"Marcus says as he scrolls through the pictures as he smirks.
"He is AA after all, cold blooded kill,cares of him,you can't even threaten to kill his parents, he'll say go ahead even"Marcus says as he laughs.
"But even the most strongest have weakness"Marcus adds switching off his computer,"You made an error having her in your life"Marcus says as he laughs.
THE NEXT DAY
Lincoln wears his suit as he heads to the bed sitting next to sleeping Amari,as he smiles caressing her cheeks,he looks at the pen in her hands.
He takes it keeping it aside,"She wrote for hours"lincoln says as he leans in kissing her forehead before getting up as he leaves the room.
TWO HOURS LATER
Amari finally wakes up as she stretches getting out the bed as she looks Around,"lincoln?"Amari calls out as she rushes out of the bed looking around.
She checks for her phone switching it on, she sees the time as her eyes widen, "Shit!!"Amari screams as she pushes into the bathroom,"I KILL LINCOLN!!" Amari screams inside.
34 MINUTES
Amari rushes out in her robe getting dressed as she heads downstairs rushing out the door,once she had hailed a taxi and got in she pulled out her phone Calling lincoln.
"MR arrogant how dare you"Amari says with a pout as she hears lincoln chuckle from the other side,"You seemed drained from last night work,I decided to let you sleep in"Lincoln says as Amari sighs.
"Thats a nice thought,but you shouldn't have"Amari says as she sighs,"I don't like Missing school no matter how late I am"Amari explains,"Sorry,but I still don't regret what I did thought,you need rest,don't overwork"*cuts call.
"did he just cut the call!!"Amari says in anger as she switches off her phone, "Dickhead"Amari says with an eyeroll.
AT SCHOOL
Kanye just sat bored in class as the teacher just talked,"Anyone know what homeostasis is?"Teacher asks as some pupils raise up their hands, including Kanye.
Kanye freezes as he slowly drop down his hands,seeing Amari walk pass the door like a wondering spirit, shocking him to the core.
"Was that Amari?"Kanye asks himself, "Sbe didn't even bother coming in the class?"Kanye says to himself as he shakes her head.
"That fox dude is starting to affect her academics"Kanye says with a hint of anger,"Yes Kanye,do you want to answer?"Teacher asks as Kanye eyes widen shaking his head.
"no no ma'am"Kanye says as the teacher raises her brows,"Are you sure,you really like biology if I recall"the teacher says as Kanye nods.
"Yes,but I didn't study much yesterday" Kanye explains to the teacher,"okay then"The teacher says as she tunes to the board.
35 MINUTES LATER
Kanye comes out of the class as he sees Amari by the door with her head buried in her legs,he squats by her tapping her shoulder.
"Are you okay Amari?"Kanye asks as Amari lifts up her head tiredly,"Oh,.... yeah"Amari says as she nods,"Dont mind me,am a bit exhausted"Amari says as Kanye eyes widen,'Ehausted from doing what?'Kanye thinks within.
"ive been working on the project ever since yesterday,only got Four hours of sleep"Amari confesses as Kanye finally breaths a sigh of relief,"Thank Lord" Kanye says as Amari rolls her eyss.
"What a Friend"Amari says getting up as Kanye stops her,"hold up"Kanye says getting up,"chill,I didn't mean it like that"Kanye says as Amari simply just nods.
"Come let's go to the library you can sleep there"Kanye suggest taking Amari hand as he leads her.
