The girl was only ten years old when she asked God for an apple. When she started inviting everyone to create their own house of worship and started looking for their respective gods, she started making offerings to those unseen creatures.
Kertabumi was still at the age of 10 when all of this happened.
Now, she is already in her teens. 16 years is a pretty old number for a girl her age who is not yet married. Her parents pressured her to marry too often; they even invited all kinds of men to propose to her so that they could live longer and so that she could have children.
"God will be angry if you don't get married, Kertabumi!" So her mother grumbled every time she refused every man who came to her house.
