"Tribulation Thunder Body, due to our Lei Clan's Purple Thunder Bloodline when we perform a specific breathing technique incite our bloodline, and cultivate the Tribulation Thunder Body. If done in conjunction with physical exercise the effects are compounded even further....." I spoke to myself, reading over the manual.
At first the technique didn't seem all too hard, just do the breathing technique and exercise but I couldn't help but think back on what my father said. 'He said less than pleasant, and it was in a way that indicated it was definitely fucking painful, does it not say anything in the manual?' I thought confused as I read through it.
The first Stage of the technique was the Thunderous Body, it allowed one's body to become impenetrable by normal weapons while simultaneously providing inhuman speed. It detailed the effects of the Stage along with the time it would take to get there and what exercises were ideal but no where did it describe any pain.
"I guess I'll see during practice, no pain no gain as they say!" Muttering to myself I then began to perform the breathing technique. Immediately I felt a hot sensation swell up throughout my body, a purple light suffusing across it.
The more I performed the breathing technique the more the purple light grew and the brighter it got, the hot sensation also rose. 'Okay I guess I am doing it correctly, now I'll start off with a run. Time to become overpowered!'
With that I began running around the 9th training field without stop, it was bothersome at first but as I trudged on I grew to like the training more and more. It felt as though with every step I was closer and closer towards my goals, towards living my life with no regrets.

POV Lei Tian
Standing some distance away from the 9th training field I hid my presence as I watched my son train the Tribulation Thunder Body for the first time. 'Ah it brings me back, how long ago did I begin my training? Forty years ago now? Time sure does fly by.' I reminisced on the past before focusing on Lei Li once again.
'This is an important moment I can't miss it. While I should've consulted Meili before going through with it, we can't delay the inevitable.' Sighing inwardly my eyes were locked onto Lei Li at this moment.
The problem was that due to the Tribulation Thunder Body being dependent on our Clan's bloodline it was also used as a sort of indicator of bloodline strength. 'After the talking incident she's been worried about this ever since. Not to mention he's actually had great success with forming his Unity so if his bloodline isn't up to par it could ruin everything...' I worried and worried, until something caught my eye.
Out of nowhere a purple light spread across Lei Li's body. From a dim glow, to a bright glow the purple light seemed to grow endlessly. Seeing this I was stumped, my jaw dropped open as I stared in shock.
'LI'ER!!!!!' I could barely stop myself from roaring in excitement. 'His talent is not only good its simply monstrous, even my talent is only half as good and I am a genius.' Currently I was even more excited than when Li'er completed Unity Seeking.
But then another notion overtook me. 'The tallest tree catches the most wind.....I need to quickly discuss this matter with grandfather.' In an instant I moved towards the center of the Clan this matter was of utmost importance.

POV Lei Li
"Haa, haa, haa." I exhaled in exasperation. Having completed an hour of running, 100 push ups, and some stretching I was completely exhausted. 'The surprising thing is how much training I managed to complete, my body might already be stronger than my previously life.'
Finally done with training the Tribulation Thunder Body for the day, I rested a bit before heading back home. It was already lunch time and after all the exercise I was starving. Once I arrived, I went to the dining hall and sat down.
A few minutes later a few maids entered and began setting down the tableware and food. "Where's father?" I asked curiously, normally he was never late for a meal. Hearing this one of the maids informed me that he was at a clan meeting.
Not thinking much of it I began eating seeing as he wouldn't be back home for a few more hours. I devoured dish after dish, soon I had eaten more than double my normal portion yet I still wasn't full. "More please!"
Soon I spent almost an entire hour gorging myself on food. It was honestly surprising, I didn't know my body could actually consume that much food. 'I think I may have eaten my literal body weight in food.' I chuckled gazing at my bloated stomach.
I then wobbled away to the Heaven Viewing Tower and recited the True Thunder Scripture. Day to day it didn't feel like much changed when reciting the scripture even in the 4 days it took me to reach Unity Seeking it simply felt like small changes built up slowly but surely.
Because of this I didn't expect any major differences and as I expected there weren't any. Almost 6 hours later I stopped reciting the scripture and left the Heaven Viewing Tower satisfied. 'As long as I make a small improvement everyday I'll eventually reach the pinnacle.'
Arriving back home I then ate dinner alone, it seemed as though my father was still held up at the clan meeting, once I was done I washed up and then headed to bed. 'Hmm today was actually quite nice, not at all "less than pleasant" as father said.' With that thought I drifted off into sleep.
