"After every first mission we give an opportunity to consider if he or she would like to continue or stop." Alan adjusted his trousers, his belt making clinking sounds before turning to look at her.
Her leg faced the door as if she was about to run away from the room, her face looked at the wall like it was the best she had seen.
"So..." he drawled before chuckling. "You'll be given that opportunity too." he took steps towards her... On instinct, Adira raised her hand a little as a means of defense but then she heard him chuckle.
"Like you can stop me if I want to have my way with you." He stretched his hands towards her face before he could touch her, she turned her face the other way.
"I'm just struggling with letting you choose if you want to stay or not." His hand was hung mid air. His nails glistening under the light.
"Don't think everyone get to use the device that you used in practicing.. that's why you were able to learn fast. I'm proud of you." he said resting his hands back inside the pocket.
"I've known you for years now" he said with a smile knowing clearly that she don't remember him even if she has regained her memory...

Everything started quietly, the exchange of goods were nicely handled by Tiara. Adira didn't see a use of the guns they came with. As annoying as it was, she still stood there in the shadows. The other ladies standing at Tiara's back held a box which they passed to the other gangs.
"That's the payment." Tiara said when the girls had passed the box.
"Mm" he held his jaw, as if he was thinking about going towards the box. After a lot of contemplation from the other side. She motioned for his men to open the box and the entire box was stacked with cash.
"Your goods." They presented a blue file to Tiara, which she took. From the look of things, the file seemed heavy.
Tiara rummaged the blue file with a small smile before she stretched her towards the man who took her hands with a huge smile on his face.
"Arghhh." They heard someone scream from the back cutting the handshake short.
Tiara turned her face to see Adira squatting on the ground, blood seeped through her shoulder.
It seemed someone shot an arrow at her and she could only guess it was the other party. Without further ado, she didn't think twice before shooting a bullet at the man which he dodged immediately knowing the incident that just happened.
His boss was going to be so angry about this and he was sure of that, which of his men had shot the arrow??
The other party didn't seem like they wanted a fight, soon enough they dispersed from the area.
A girl stood behind a huge van, her eyes steady, as if not scared of she got caught. Her hands held the arrow tightly.
"Shi*" Tiara cursed when she looked at the injury on Adira's shoulder, it seemed too deep.
"Help her to her feet, let's get going."She commanded also giving Adira a supporting hand.
Her eyes caught the arrow that had was flung aside. Stretching, she took the arrow in her hands which still contained blood at the edge.
She recognized this arrow immediately. Her eyes seeped through the dark space, she couldn't see anyone. With a little shake of her head, she adjusted her self to make Adira comfortable on her shoulders.

After getting her wound treated, Adira had her eyes on the wall. She sat with her back facing the door, her thoughts had wandered off before she heard a knock on her door.
And soon enough, the visitor walked in.
Sorry for the late and short update...
