Alan restocked the gun with bullets before looking at his target, soon enough he cocked his gun. Glancing at her, he shot.
If Adira thought her bullet had hit the target then she was definitely wrong. He shot without looking at his target and the bullet went through the one she had shot, splitting her bullet into two.
"Wow?" she whispered softly. Alan dropped his gun and looked at her. "Just a few tricks that can perfect your shot, your target won't stand and watch you shoot just like this target board." Alan said and took two steps towards her, closing the gap between the two of them.
"They'll hide or run but with little movements redirecting their focus, you could get what you want." His fingers caressed her cheeks softly.
"Use this gun today... it's my lucky gun." he said pulling the gun out of the back of his trousers, he placed it next to the one he had used.
"I'll teach you... later" He concluded, noticing someone shadow coming close to the door, he moved back and with large strides, he went away from the field.
"Adi!!!" Diana called out.
Adira felt out of place... what just happened?? she thought.
"You're acing your lessons better than anyone else ever! are you perhaps planning to kill our boss." Diana whispered the last part with a teasing smile that Adira only noticed when she shot her eyes to look at Diana.
"That's so funny." Adira said placing her gun next to Alan's. With slow movements, she picked up the gun Alan had brought out of his back.
"Isn't that Alan's gun?? he doesn't go anywhere without it." Diana said flinging the hair that had moved to her face backwards.
"Yes.. he gave me, he says to use it for luck in our mission today." Adira said while looking closely at the gun to see if there's a difference. But the gun didn't look any different.
"He doesn't let anyone touch that gun.. that's all I can tell you so are you sure he gave it to you??" Diana inquired. She always asked Alan for that gun anytime they were making out so seeing Adira with it even when the girl was just new, her eyes turned green(jealousy).
"Ohh, he just dropped it saying it was for luck." Adira said and just like they had thought her, she placed the gun at the back of her trousers.
"It's necessary for her first mission." Tiara said while walking into the room, she looked a little lively today as she had been with the underboss for some minutes before boss Alan came.
Hearing the clicking of footsteps, she immediately ran away to avoid the underboss being hit again.
"Donald, let's get going.. don't you think??" Alan said his hands resting on Donald's shoulder as he squeezed it, though Donald didn't even mind it, the girl was infact feeling the pain causing her to run towards where Diana had deviated to.
"I know. Alan don't give his lucky charm for any reason." She said before splaying a false smile on her lips, gripping Adira's hand.
"You haven't really associated yourself with the other girls so why don't we do that?" she asked,as if Adira had any choice than following since Diana was already dragging her.
Adira knew what she had said was the truth but Alan also told her that she wasn't staying for a long time so she didn't want to get accustomed to the place hence, she stayed away from people except Diana and Tiara. Well not like the other girls even tried to involve themselves with her.
"Hey girls!" Diana called out once they got into the dining. Everyone's eye turned to look at her, for the second time Adira felt small, she disliked the feeling. It reminded her of the past, when she and Lara had to go to school in their fathers car. Coming down together, she looked like a pauper that stayed beside Lara to give her anything she needed. The attention on Lara was massive... oh, she still got attention, those were of annoyance of even seeing her.
Reminiscing those moments, she felt angry, infuriated. "I don't think I want to mingle." She whispered enough for only Diana to hear but the girl turned a deaf all of a sudden and kept on dragging Adira to the table.
"She said she doesn't want to mingle, didn't you hear??" Tiara shouted when she noticed that her sister's jealousy had blocked her ears and eyes.
"Did you just shout at me for this girl?" Diana asked. "What a rhetorical question??" Tiara said
