Days passed with Jenner preparing Adira for the blind date. She went ahead to shop for a beautiful black knee-length dress while coming back from her acting her first scene.
"Aish, you are doing nothing at home but you said you can't follow me to get a dress for yourself." Jenner sighed softly while throwing her bags on Adira.
"Ahhh you are back, how was the shoot??" She asks totally ignoring Jenner's complaint.
"It was stressful and hey that girl we met at the pharmacy sucks. She kept making us reshoot, arghhhhh." Jenner kicks her shoe and continues.
"I felt like hitting her on the head, she kept forgetting her lines." She shouts.
"Calm down, come here and sit. Is it my sister or the one that was at her back??" Adira asks.
"The one that was in front is your sister." Jenner said more like a question.
"The one that told that pharmacist not to give me the drugs." Adira says while standing up.
She moves to Jenner's back and began helping her to pack her hair.
"Yeah, so she is your sister?"
"Mmmm, kinda. She is my step sister, the same father different mothers."
"Ahhh, that's the one I am talking about. I guess her mother is dumb." Jenny replied with a sigh.
"Hahaha, yeah she sure is dumb."
"You know it is tomorrow right??" Jenner asked turning her face to the back to see, so she could look at Adira in the eyes.
"What is tomorrow??" Adira muttered.
"Your blind date with my brother, hey do not keep him waiting." She sighed but she wasn't finished.
"My brother is a workaholic, he only agreed to this because my grandpa Roux used his mother against him." Jenner sighed remembering what she went through to get her grand father to agree to this.
He had ruined all the other blind dates but girls were still after him. Knowing that they were mostly after his money, he didn't respond to them.
He was known as the only man who never did business with the most prominent business woman.
"Roux, I have heard that before." Adira says unconsciously rubbing her chin.
"That's not the point."
Jenner turns around and sits next to Adira, facing her directly.
"Okay, so what happened to his mother??" Adira decides to ask that instead.
"His mother died immediately he was born, they had accident on the way back to the house. Only him and his father survived, their driver died too." She explained shortly, she didn't want to go into details.
"His father secluded himself, so he had to behave too mature for his age knowing no one was with him, before grandpa Roux came back from Korea." She completed.
This got Adira to keep a straight face, she couldn't understand something. She blinked slowly.
Her memory was playing with her now, she could get a clear view of her accident but she knew she was missing something. Sighing, she decided to think of it later.
"Oh, so what do I do??" she asked.
"Just go for the blind date, you might love him when you see him. My grand father had to make his assistant put it among his schedules for the day. His assistant had set it as a meeting, so rest assured he will be on time." Jenner said with utmost seriousness.
"So what is his name??"
"Liam Heroux."
She felt she heard this name somewhere.
'Heroux..... Roux..." she thought.
"O... kay." Adira says while getting her self a more comfortable position.
"Are you going for your shoot tomorrow??" Adira asked again while touching Jenner's hair.
"Yeah but it's a morning scene and if your step sister isn't among then I will return early, that's before you go for the blind date, I also have a date to attend to." Jenny said with a giggle.
"Really!!!, that's great. Why didn't you make it a double date??" Adira inquired.
"My brother won't like it."
