"I am your mother. You should not behave like this to me." Lisa howes shouted at Jacob angrily. She was fed up of Jacob's ignorant behavior with her and it was making her mad with every passing day. She was in Jacob's room and came to talk to him but not getting any response from him she got mad at him.
"Look, that's why I don't talk to you. That's why." His indication was at her shouting.
"But why do you behave like this to me?" She came towards him and caressed her fingers on his hair. " I want to spend some time with you and talk to you. " Now her tone was low as compared to before.
Jacob laughed sarcastically and pushed her hand away from him .
"Do you want something from me?" He looked at her with curious eyes.
" I don't know why you say things like this." she shook her head sadly as she knew that he was mocking her. "Actually, You don't understand many things and see everything just from your side. I hope that someday you will be able to look from my shoes, from my heart, and get to realize how much a mother loves her child," she said and left the room without giving him time to reply to her.
Jacob looked at her as she left.
A memory of a teenage boy flashed into his mind when he was thirteen years old.
"Your mother is a home wrecker. " He was sitting on the bench of his school and it was lunch time when a group of senior boys came and one of them said to him with sarcasm and they all started laughing at him. Jacob's fist clenched at that moment. He survived all of this very overwhelmingly and he knew that after going home he will be crying a lot as it became the routine for him to listen to these types of things and get bullied as he had to face the cost of a crime every day that he hasn't even committed.
"Mom, why you ruined my life? My childhood?" Jacob whispered coming into the present moment and looking at his room walls. He could still feel the pain of those days in his heart. Her mother's decision has affected his and his sister's life very much. It took a long time for him to cope with all the mess that life threw at him and become something out of it on his own. He very well knew the struggles one has to face to remove their previous identity, erase it and create a new life for them. It was difficult, hard, and impossible. But Jacob loved to make impossible things possible. He loved doing hard things and this was the reason that he was at this place today that people recognized him by his identity, not by his mother and father's name.

Levi was pressing his mother's forehead. Her eyes were closed.
"How was your hiking experience? " His mother Isabella asked him. Levi's hand stopped for a while thinking about that day but then he continued pressing her forehead.
"Good." Single word reply came from his mouth. Remembering the day in the forest his thoughts made him reflect on what happened to him and Jacob on that day.
"What are you thinking?" His mother asked him. Her eyes were circulating his face.
Listening to her voice, he glanced at her. She was watching him waiting for the answer.
"N.., no, nothing. Just waiting for a day when you will be healthy soon just like before." He smiled and switched the conversation so as not to make her have any suspicion about the situations he faced on that day.
"I will surely. " she smiled back at him holding his hand and closed her eyes. Levi looked at her pale and depleted face. She was his weakness. He could not see her like this. He remembered a time when she was healthy, fit, and beautiful. How beautiful she looked with her dad as they both went along to a party, an event, or anywhere. The sudden business failure and setbacks have might affected her health and she was not able to bear it mentally looking at his husband encountering failure in every aspect.
'Maybe this has caused my mother bedridden and ill.' Levi thought to himself. ' I have to definitely find a solution for all this. We can't live our whole life like that.' He thought.
Levi has always watched his dad working hard and with honesty even when he was a businessman so it was in his genes to work hard but he had always struggled with one thing and that was: Fear. Fear of anything.Fear of uncertainty. It was holding him back and he had to overcome it.
'I had to work upon it, overcoming my fears, only then I will be able to conquer the world.' He thought and pressed his lips on his mother's forehead who just slept.
