Nivritti let out a big puff of air as she sat down on her couch. Today was hectic yet amazing. She was promoted. Jae-Hwa was promoted. She was sure that Jae-Hwa was going to jump up and down in her house when she would tell her parents everything. Should she too tell her parents about her promotion?
She turned to look at the three bags she carried today, one her purse and two laptop bags. IT configured Dae's laptop and gave the ID and password to both girls to share. Promotion was a good thing but that meant an increase in her workload and spending all her time before a computer screen. Her dark circles will get darker for sure.
"I wanted you to get fired," Dae's words kept echoing in her mind.
"Jealousy! Jealousy! You will be the downfall of everyone!!" Nivritti shook her head and got up from the couch. She changed her clothes and went into the kitchen. First, she placed water to boil for her tea while she started chopping up vegetables for dinner.
