All four were huddled under the stairs away from Dae's eyes trying to hear what Dae was speaking, trying to figure out who he was talking to and what he was talking about. Dae kept talking about meeting someone at their usual place and it was clear that he was planning something.
"You know I am sorry about last time. I will keep apologising to you till the end of the time," said Dae. "Yes, yes, same time. I leave the office and come to you right after."
All four kept standing in their position for some time. They didn't even want to breathe. It could signal Dae that someone was there. Suddenly Dae stopped talking. They all looked at each other and tried scooching in the corner as much as they could.
The cranking noise from the door told them that Dae had left. Yet Nivritti moved a little close to the railing and looked up. There was no one. There was no noise. She sighed with relief and then looked at Jung-Hwa who was staring at her.
