Jae-Geun was staring at Nivritti after Jae-Hwa told him that she scolded the topmost man of one of the biggest companies in Korea.
"I didn't…" gulped Nivritti.
"What did she do, Jaehwa?" asked Jae-Geun.
Jae-Hwa again sipped water and sat up straight. She looked at Jae-Geun and then at Nivritti. Nivritti was shaking her head in no and pleading with her eyes. Jae-Hwa sighed and said, "I thought she was my saviour."
"Jae!" Nivritti was taken aback. What did she mean by 'was'? Was Jae-Hwa too angry at her for shouting at Hu Bong? Was she looking down on her?
"Now I know she is not only my saviour but also our family's saviour," smiled Jae-Hwa with gratitude in her eyes.
"Jae!" that humbled Nivritti down. She had no idea what else to say.
