Allysa tried to open her eyes, but could not because she was probably drugged with something or was it bite from something. It was all blurry around her, she could see a man sitting beside her, like he was staring at her, her arms were tied around the bed post. Yes it was a bed post and she was lying on a bed, it felt soft and it did not hurt like it did when she fainted, he had given her something painful that her head still hurt and she could not even properly open her eyes, she was trying to get conscious because this man probably wants to hurt her or maybe kill her. All the thoughts crossing her mind were scary she had often got threat calls like people saying they would kill her or sexually assault her, all these things were common for a journalist. And this time all this could be real the person who kidnapped her was really very dangerous.
There was light falling on her face and she also felt hot, it was the sun she guessed, it was still hard for her to open her eyes but she was trying she was thirsty, before she could ask for water someone stood in front of light and covered her face she opened her eyes but still could not see the face, just how much she was drugged.
" Here drink this" The man said bringing a glass near to her mouth.
Allysa did not open her mouth rather closed it more tightly what if it has poison in it she wondered or any other drug.
" There's no poison in it or any other drug, it's just normal water. " He said and smirked.
what on earth was he how could he read her thoughts but she was too weak so she decided to drink. The man brought the glass near her mouth and she drank full glass, now she could feel bit better and was in a state to open her eyes. The man moved and closed the curtains inorder to block light and he went and sat on the sofa. Now when she was conscious she looked around and could see that it was not some dark dungen place she was kept at rather it was a beautiful and lavish room with decorated furniture. The bed was also soft, she was not tied anymore by the bed post. She finally looked at the man sitting on the sofa and again a chill ran down her spine, it was him, he had the same huge mark on his right arm, he was the person who kidnapped her. The man who kidnapped her was one of the most dangerous and most wanted criminal not only in India, but also in countries like US and Africa. He was considered as one of the smartest smuggler of the times. Yes a smuggler, he smuggled diamond from the mines of Africa to countries like Dubai and this was smuggled from Rwanda. He also smuggled gold from India to Dubai and many rich countries. Apart from that he had brought or rather kidnapped illegal immigrants from US and Africa and made them work for him. She knew a lot about this because it was the case she was working for. The police could ever catch him even when many times they tried to catch him but he would just disappear into thin air and leave no traces behind. But Allysa had got a lead and she was very much confident to expose him this time. But no one even knew his name, according to the police he mainly lived in Africa but he was not an Afrikan this was probably due to the illegal work he did. People there were very afraid of him, they feared him, the Afrikaans believed that he was a " GROOTSLANG". GROOTSLANG is considered one of the legendary monster of Africa, this monster lives in a cave called wonder hole in the Richtersveld area of South Africa , the story is that the original grootslang was found to be too powerful so the gods subdivided the animal into two species: the elephant and the snake. But one or two GROOTSLANG escaped this fate and reproduced. The monster can grow upto 60 feet long. Supposedly his cave is full of diamonds, but no one knows for sure because the GROOTSLANG guides it. He was given this name because he was the only person who was able to come out of the cave alive but there was a huge mark on his arm like two teeths of a snake had bit him but the marks were very large. The native people believed that the soul of the monster had took over his body and some even thought that he was the first born of GROOTSLANG. The only monster to survive. But it was only believed by the natives, to other people this was only a mythical tale . But the mark on his arm was very real. No one had ever seen him but Allysa had met him even before. He had turned out to be very smart, looking at him no one could have thought that he was a criminal. He was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. Their eyes met and again a chill ran down her spine. His big dark brown eyes were looking at her. She finally broke the silence and asked
" It's you right, the smuggler. " she could not speak properly because she was still weak.
" smuggler...." he smirked.
" Yes a smuggler. Why have you brought me here expect me to work for you in the mines digging diamond. she said right away sternly
His smile widened " you are exactly the way i had thought fearless even in this situation. And by the way call me Aaron. That's what I expect people to call me. "
" Aaron ...no one even know your name and you expect people to call you that". She scoffs
He gets up from the sofa and comes and sit next to her on the bed, getting more close and pulling her towards him.
He whispers in her ear " I meant the people i own and want to keep close to." Saying this he looks at her, she also looks back at him closely, seeing him too close for the first time. He is breathtakingly handsome. How can he look like this, how on earth can someon be so handsome. His big eyebrows and dark brown eyes, the sharp jawline that every girl would drool over. This is not at all good, a thought like this should not even cross her mind and plus he was a criminal not some ordinary person who you could fall for. He was being hunted and searched every second of the day. And by now someone would have possibly found out about her missing and the news would spread out like wildfire.
" I know i am very handsome that you can't take your eyes off me but right now i must say that you should probably take bath, the smell is not bearable. " He says getting up from the bed.
" what ....smell i am smelling no way" she says and then she sniffs her clothings. O no this was bad.
" It's because of you i just got out of my office after working whole day and here you kidnapped me and brought me here i probably wanted to take shower. " she looks really pissed off this time.
" Oh i am sorry I should have let you take a shower first and then asked you to come with me." He says and laughs.
" Ask me, as if you would. You haven't brought me here on my will you have fucking kidnapped me and the people will find out sooner or later about it and it would be all over the news. " she says angrily.
" O baby don't get angry i am not going to harm you, i will keep you safe i have brought you here because I really need you . " This is the first time she sees him serious.
" Need me what do you been by that ...."
She is cutoff in between by a knock on the door .
" Come in " Aaron commands.
" Master it's out and probably looking for you "
the man bows down and says he is dressed in all black and his face is covered by a strange mask, there's a picture of an animal engraved on it. But Allysa does not recognise it.
" Okay you leave i will come". The man bows again and leaves.
Aaron turns towards Allysa and again sits beside her leaning forward and he says with a stone face " Don't even try to escape, you won't be able to, this is the safest place i have kept you in apart from that there are blood wanting monsters every where. Just trust me ones, i will be back in sometime. "
He gets up, she still does not say anything just stares at him there was something in his eyes that she felt for a second he was not lying like he was casting some spell on her. He again turns back and says " Just in case you think that you should take bath there are some clothes for you in the closet and the bathrooms right there, so get yourself clean and don't look out of the window you won't be able to take it. "
" You ..." before Allysa could complete her sentence he leaves.
She sighs
She looks around the room and sees a jug of water, she tries to get up from her bed but her legs feel numb but somehow she manages to get up. Grabbing the jug she gulps downs all the water.
" Ahh that feels good. Now i need to get out of this place. " she says to herself .
She tries to open the door but then suddenly hears a loud bang from outside like someone was warning her not to do so.
" Right he might have asked someone to keep a guard on me."
Then she goes by the window before opening the curtains Aaron's warning strikes on her mind. He had asked her not to look out the window but why, it made her more to look and she opened the curtains but did not open the window. It was a huge glass window so she could easily see out. And what she saw was not at all real.
" Fuck. What on earth is this place. " she looked amused. Did a place like that exist on earth. It was cloudy near her window as if this place was flying in the sky but they were probably not the clouds it was something else , like fog but she could not figure out what it was. She looked down and holy Jesus, she was on a very high floor or the top floor it seemed like she was on 100 th floor of a building, where was this place from the window she could see a whole new world that seemed like a magical world, the sky was not blue it was pink, light pink like light blue. And there was a huge tree very huge in the middle of this new world. The tree took over a place of 10 huge palaces and it was really very tall. And suddenly she saw something flying was it a bird, no it was huge and greying black as it reached closer it looked like a lizard,not looked but it was a huge greyish black lizard with wings, it was flying and was also approaching towards her and boom the flying lizard attacked on her thank God there was a window and it got stuck on it. The poor lizard, she laughed at it.
" You stinky thing you wanted to attack me and yourself got attacked. Haha."
It looked like the lizard got offended and was going to try again but what she saw was strange. It increased it's size and attacked again this time it was successful and as it had created a crack on the window. It got even larger Allysa got afraid she immediately closed the curtains and ran towards the door trying to open it banging on it hard.
" Help someone please open the door, it's trying to get. " But there was no one responding. Before she tried to rush towards the bathroom she heard and loud crack sound and the glass had broken.
