Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 10: THE DIASPORA

EXPATRIAGE A man born in the country who left the diaspora returned to the country for the first time with great emotion. One day while walking in Hargeisa, he passed by a small booth where a woman was selling tea, where another man was sitting who was a person who had not yet left the country. There was a funny and wise story with an important message between these three personalities, as well as a poem.

This man from the diaspora is called "Qurbawi", and the woman's name is "Qaleya", the man who lives in the country who is sitting in front of the woman's booth is "Qowdhan".

When the Qurbawi man stood at the booth, he began to speak and said:

"How do you live in this place? It is a place where people have not built. Look at how broken these roads are. I have never seen a place with such bad roads in the world that I have been through." The woman who was selling tea in Qaleeya answered and said:

"Mother, I see you as a man from abroad, you look at him, don't you follow what happened in this country. It was said that when Siad Barre's government prepared the people of Hargeisa 15 1. Geed Deebleh, where the plane came from, has not been destroyed since the days of the bombing.

The old man ran away from the woman and was shocked when she took her own life.

After the planes passed, his wife said, "Look at this cowardly old man, the old men used to run away from them".

The old man quickly jumped up and answered his wife saying, "Run away from us, didn't men come from the sky in the past?" In this land, Soma liland came from the sky and do not compare it to the countries you have seen that are not sprinkled by anyone.

On the one hand, the Qurbawi man was humbled by this example of laughter and wisdom that the woman gave him, and on the other hand, he was a little shy and he was turning away from the issue of the country's politicians saying:

"Mom, I understand, but in this country, politicians are playing and they are not doing anything for the people", where the discussion is taken over by the man who is sitting there, "Qowdhan" who takes the speech and says:

"First of all, these parties have misunderstood the term politics and have taken it to another side". The Qowdhan man continues his speech and says:

"Yesterday, a man from a rural area was asked, can you explain the meaning of the word "Politics"? The rural man looked at the sides and said that he was explaining the word "Politics." When you are in a meeting with someone who puts on your shoes, when you leave the meeting, how to know who put on your shoes is called "Politics". That's how the rural man explained politics.

Continuing his speech, Qowdhan says:

16 1. "So, you foreigner, your feelings are not bad, but that is not the situation, what you think is political, is not political. Do you know that the Earth is waiting for you and no one else.
