"I know what your relationship with Chicago is. Why do you hate it and why you are reluctant to talk about this beautiful city," Cameron said in a low but piercing voice.
Elena rolled her eyes, her snarling eyes turning into worried ones. Her chest was beating fast. It wasn't that she felt the passion between a man and a woman, but now that he was very surprised that no one had ever dared say that to her about Chicago.
"Ammy Hellena Brown. Can you hear me?"
DEG!
Cameron's voice saying her real name kept echoing in her mind. For years and even decades, Elena has struggled to throw away all of her past and leave it all behind since she started her studies at law school. Elena had determined that she would become an incredibly successful lawyer and that she would never let anyone know that she was Hellena Brown, the amazing little girl and illegitimate child of a famous Chicago Judge.
But now someone she hated so much, the man who was now right in front of her and only two centimeters away said it in a very firm voice. State the full name first very clearly.
"Elena," Cameron said again.
"Who are you?" asked Elena coldly after having managed to control herself with difficulty. "What do you want from me?" Elena hissed.
"I'm not a guy who would use things like that. I said that so you would listen to me," Cameron said. "I really need your help,"
"What do you want?" Elena repeated her question.
"I want you to come with me to Chicago," Cameron said. "I've said it many times."
"I can't believe it! A manipulative human like you will do anything to get his victim to do whatever you wants. But you're wrong, Cam. I'm not that kind of woman!" Elena jerked Cameron and tried to push Cameron as hard as she could.
But his efforts were in vain. Cameron pressed his body against Elena so much that Elena could feel her chest touching Cameron and Cameron's manhood touching her stomach.
"I'd give up if you could get Emily back to me,"
"Give up for what?" Elena asked harshly.
"I'll give up on the Johanson Group and let you handle it," Bekenzie replied.
"How much do you know?"
"I know everything . Do I need to go into detail for you to believe?" Bekenzie asked back.
Elena raised a hand. "Get out of the way now. I'm out of breath," said Elena.
"What if I don't want to leave until I get that answer from you?"
"You'll get a hundred percent yes from me if you step aside right now." Elena shot Bekenzie a murderous glare. Somehow she agreed to what Bekenzie asked. She felt that she didn't really need to do all of that, since she was little she always got ridicule from her friends by being called the amazing illegitimate child.
Elena has a very beautiful face, her beauty was inherited from her biological mother who works as a public prosecutor. But after her scandal with the judge, Elena's biological mother resigned from her position and focused on taking care of Elena alone.
Even though Elena is the daughter of a Supreme Court Justice whose income is even very large and also has abundant wealth. Enola Danforth never asked a dime from that bastard man to raise Elena.
Elena grew up to be an intelligent child with an IQ above average. However, Elena couldn't move freely due to the news that circulated very quickly. Everyone looked down on her until the worst moment in her life was finding her mother dead in an accident and leaving her alone.
That's when Elena determined to erase all the bad memories she had by changing her name and always saying that she had no family.
"Can't you get out of the way now?" asked Elena again.
Bekenzie took a shaky breath and shifted her body.
"Thank you." Elena said loudly then walked into the kitchen, opened the refrigerator roughly, grabbed a some of beer and opened it without looking at Bekenzie who was watching what she doing.
There was a pain that Elena tried to hide from the look in her eyes. Bekenzie could see Elena was trying to control herself as well as her emotions. One word that Bekenzie could get from Elena.
Great.
Elena crumpled her empty beer can and placed it on the table with a very loud sound.
"Now you have to listen to me, Jones." A very strong emphasis can be heard when Elena pronounces the Cameron surname. "I will not hesitate to sue you and also make you regret if you can't keep a secret that you know well."
"You can take my word for it," Cameron said.
"Second. I want to ask you. If you know who I am then you know who my father is, right?"
"Sure. He was a very respected judge, and so was your mother." Then Bekenzie saw again the look in Elena's eyes as if she was trying hard to suppress all the hatred that would well up if she didn't hold it in.
"I don't want you to talk about anything about it even if it's just you and me."
"Okay. I agree. Anything else?"
"I'll think about it later." Elena answered. She took another can of beer and drank it silently. "Tell me about the woman," then Elena said.
"Could you give me the can of beer you drank before I told Emily?"
Elena glared but her hand took another can of beer and handed it to Cameron.
"Thanks, Elena."
"You should have said that," said Elena.
"You too," Cameron responded.
"I can't go to Chicago next week. I have a busy schedule with court and client consultations," Elana began. "Moreover, don't you think that's weird? Bringing in another woman while you're trying to win your ex back?"
"Why should it be weird? We're friends."
"Competitive friends. You have to remember that,"
"Emily and I are originally like that. She always tries hard to get what she wants,"
"I didn't think a cheerleader would do that. She studied law?"
Cameron nodded. "Emily and I have the same origins as the two of us. But that night when Emily and I were doing casework in the campus library, discussing the important points of the case, somehow in the next minute Emily and I stripped each other, leaning on piles of thick books and making love like wild animals."
"I'm not Emily going to fuck like a wild animal, so don't compare me to your woman," protested Elena.
"After sweating and falling apart, Emily and I chatted and we agreed it was something Emily and I wanted to one day..."
