Everything was going smoothly in the Landon household. Desmond and Sam seemed happier, and the staff seemed happier as well after being subjected to some physical abuse and questioning but being rewarded for it by having more days off and added pay.
The whole rumor incident came and went mysteriously. In the end, they couldn't find out where the incidents arose from or who started them. Desmond only let the whole thing go because he was certain no one else would talk about it after what he had done to them and also because he seemed to be in a good mood lately.
Desmond felt a bit disappointed as he tried reaching out to Robert but couldn't. He felt scammed, but he knew Robert wasn't the type to do such, and his sudden disappearance made him question a few things.
