Desmond wasn't too surprised at Sam's recollection of her day. It was classic for Stephanie to always find a way to invite herself over to his house. Desmond wasn't particularly mad at Sam for accepting her request and inviting her without his permission, but he was a bit angry at Stephanie for using his wife as a backdoor to get to him.
"She doesn't know when to quit, does she?" Desmond asked himself in a whisper.
Sam heard it and giggled slightly.
"I think it's cute that she's that into you." I mean, you should have seen her face the first time she heard that both of us were married. I still remember her staring with her mouth wide open as you carried me to my room. Ford smiled and brought his face closer to hers.
"I'm surprised you remembered."
"I mean, how could I forget?" "You swept me off my feet and carried me like a princess in front of everyone."
"Then you wouldn't forget this."
