"Pack your bags guys. We're going to Hawaii"
Sam didn't know what to think. Could you just declare you were going to the other side of the world and go that very day? Sam tried convincing him to call it off. After all it was winter, and although it didn't snow in Hawaii there was no doubt it would still be cold. Sam's knowledge on things like these such as foreign countries and cultures were based entirely on the novels and movies she's watched but she knew there had to be some truth laced in it. The idea was nuts but Desmond didn't want to listen.
"I have a friend there I've been wanting to visit for a while now. Since I'll be practically free for the rest of the month and since there are kids here why don't we take this opportunity and go to Hawaii for a brief vacation, besides I'm sure you would want to see a volcano up close."
