It was a new day at the office. Desmond had just walked in with a not so pleasant expression on his face. It was an expression she hadn't seen too often lately. The only reason why she hadn't seen it lately was apparently because of Sam, but if he's wearing his stone-faced expression so early in the morning then something must have happened at home concerning Sam.
Stephanie still had ambitions to take over Sam's position as Desmond's wife. She saw this as an opportunity to strike.
"Good morning Sir. How was your night?" Stephanie said with a large smile.
This irritated Desmond, but he didn't show it
"Morning Stephanie. My night could be better but it wasn't so bad. So did Zoe call yet?" he tried shifting the conversation.
