The question echoed in Sam's ears, Desmond dropped a bomb for her just when she was starting to relax a little. The question reminded her that she wasn't out of the woods yet but surprisingly enough, she wasn't that affected by his question. She wasn't entirely at fault here so she wished Desmond would cut her some slack.
"I said what do you think the time is!?"
Desmond repeated his question raising his voice as loud as he could without it being called a shout to further drive the nervous-looking Sam to answer his question.
"I don't know," she said dejectedly
"Well of course you wouldn't know. Not when your phone is switched off. Didn't I always tell you to never switch off your phone no matter the circumstances?" Desmond bit his lips to control himself.
