Chapter 83 - Cold

The sky was tar black, it was in the middle of the day but the sun's rays were nowhere to be found, and the large clouds were the only thing to be seen. Sam who was looking through some fashion magazines heard a tapping on the window and then it became a pitter-patter,  her attention was no longer on what she was reading as she considered her next move, she was in the beauty room. Although she had nothing else planned for the rest of the day she stayed behind in the beauty room to chat with one of the few friends she made since she started working. Elaine was her name and they were talking about random things to pass away time. Mickey Sam's driver and a close friend weren't waiting in the car as he usually did when Sam was at work. He was on an errand to deliver some important goods for Desmond but he was running late.
