It was the start of a new week, Sam was already used to her work routine and was about to leave for the office when Desmond who was also dressed fashionably called out to her in the sitting room.
"The person I was supposed to be having a meeting with canceled at the last second so the first half of my day is completely free and seeing as I'm already dressed I thought maybe I could follow you and see your progress at work," Desmond's blue eyes weren't as sharp as they usually were, his expression wasn't as straight-laced either, it sounded like a request more than an order and Desmond hardly ever did requests.
"Alright sure, I'll just let Brian know you would be coming," Sam was caught off guard by this but sure agreed anyway, she obviously did not have a single reason to refuse.
