A month has passed since Desmond saw Sam in her birthday suit and since then things have been more than a little awkward between them. Both have tried multiple times to break the ice between them. Still, they only succeeded in making things worse each time, Eric who noticed this must have figured that something happened between them and stayed a little bit longer to see how the issues would be resolved, but 30 days had already passed and it was more or less the same thing.
They both wake up, greet each other and proceed with their various activities. During breakfast and dinner it was pretty much the same thing, the silence in the dining hall was now an everyday thing in the Landon household, Eric liked the silence so he didn't say anything about it, but even he was getting uncomfortable with the daily silence and today he decided to say something, he had been patient enough for then to resolve it on their own but it seems they would never do so.
