"Babe, it's getting late!" Sam yelled from where she sat in the living room as she tried her best to make everything look natural.
"Coming," said a voice that didn't sound excited. As much as he was anticipating every moment, he didn't want to look excited in front of her. He stepped out in his white khaki and a red tee shirt with white slides. He had taken a quick shower and worked on his hair a bit to give it that sleek look before picking just about anything from his closet to wear.
Sam heard his footsteps coming down the stairs and stood up from where she sat as she walked closer to the door before stopping and waiting for him. When he came over to her, she looked at him and was about to say something, but he beat her to it.
"Babe?" He asked coyly.
Sam blushed as she batted her eyelashes, "Because this is a contract marriage, doesn't mean that we can't do that. Besides, we have to give everyone the impression that we're in love."
