Chapter 10 - Chapter 9

"It has been three days since Harp sent the letter to Violet and her mate, but he has not shown up. She wonders what he has planned. Violet has taken great precautions to keep her babies safe, using spells that cannot be undone by anyone, including witches and wizards. Her wolf and mate provide extra protection to ensure no harm comes to them.

Violet was looking out the window when she heard a crash. "Ahh, Cameron, help!" Violet was suddenly lifted into the air as Harp stole her from her and Cameron's room. "Violet, I am coming!" But it was too late. Harp flew out the window with Violet in his grasp, in his wolf and half-angel form.

Violet continued to electrocute Harp as he hissed in pain. "Ouch, you brat!" Violet intentionally put herself into a deep slumber, causing Harp to drop her. She remained in a deep slumber while Harp wondered why he couldn't touch her. Suddenly, a voice appeared. "What do you think you are doing with my daughter, Harp?" It was the Moon Goddess.

"Wait, why are you here? To save my daughter. You cannot have her. She is not your mate; she is Cameron's. You did not even go through Cameron's entire pack; you may have found your mate if you had. So stop stealing my daughter and return her to her mate. You cannot harm her or me or her wolf. She is protected, which is why you're getting electrocuted. I suggest before she kills you, return her. I am not scared. Don't say I did not warn you and your pack. Bye."

With that, the Moon Goddess disappeared, thinking to herself that the silly child simply doesn't understand that he can't have her no matter what he tries. Soon, Violet's eyes opened, and she screamed at Harp, making his ears bleed as he screamed in pain. She laughed and told him that if he hurt her, her mate, or her pack, she would kill his mate, who she knew would be his Luna. Harp pleaded for her not to do it, but Violet declared that destroying him would bring her nothing but happiness. She called for Annabella, who had Harp's mate inside her, to go to him.

Violet carefully descended to Ivan and asked him where her mate was. Ivan replied that he wanted her and that she was inside Annabella. Violet instructed Annabella to go to Harp, who nervously greeted her, fearing rejection. But Violet assured him that she would not reject him. She then turned her attention back to Harp, demanding that he bring back anyone he had stolen from the castle and now deal with the mess he had made. She told him to come up with a plan to get rid of the council and warned him that she would stop following him.

Harp apologized to Cameron, who replied that he didn't care and that he needed to sort out the council, as his children and future wife were in danger. He warned Harp that if the council found out about his child, they would try to take them away. Cameron told Harp that he needed to find a way to stop them or else he would have to kill Cameron's wolf. Ivan joined the conversation, reminding Harp that he had been warned and that he needed to understand the gravity of his situation. Harp agreed to fix the mess as soon as possible, knowing that he had three days to do so.

With that, Harp took his mate off the ground and flew off, leaving the others.

"I'm sorry, Cameron," Harp said, his voice filled with remorse. But Cameron didn't care about Harp's apologies. He was focused on the danger his family was in, including his wife-to-be. Cameron blamed Harp for allowing jealousy to cloud his judgment and putting his wife at risk. He warned Harp that if the council found out about his child, they would try to take them away due to their magical potential. Cameron made it clear that Harp needed to find a way to stop the council, or else he would have to kill Cameron's wolf.

Ivan emerged from the shadows, his eyes turning darker as he addressed Harp. He reminded him that Cameron had already warned him about the consequences of his actions. Ivan emphasized that Harp needed to understand the precarious position he was in. He threatened to kill Harp's mate if he didn't help resolve the situation. Harp pleaded that Ivan couldn't do that and promised to fix the mess as soon as possible.

Harp then lifted his mate off the ground and flew off, knowing he had three days to make things right. Cameron gave him a final deadline, demanding that Harp return in three days. He ordered Harp to leave and take his spies with him. As Harp flew off, each spy was thrown into the air, back towards him.

The situation remained tense and uncertain as Harp departed, leaving Cameron, Ivan, and Violet to anxiously await his next move.
