Chapter 1 - Prologue

*****

Hello,

This is the author, Zereeo_Ak.

This is my first novel. So, please read it with a pinch of salt.

And to warn of the impending boredom, the first three chaps are to build background for the MC. But if you keep reading, I can say that you will, I don't know, maybe like it.

Please give this world a chance to impress you.

Ah, don't forget to leave a comment! it helps me on improving this novel.

I like to have more friends to talk about our favorite stories! ✧\(>o<)ノ✧

"Haaa," I sighed.

the sight before me was horrible.

The sky was crimson red with a gigantic spell covering the whole sky.

A massive dimensional crack extending from the heaven to earth, pouring demonic energy.

Demonic energy spreading like a plague, corrupting all life around.

A stampede of demonic beasts, with a count of millions.

And finally, a golden cage that imprisoned us both.

I knew it was dangerous when I decided to stay back to keep these little shits here. After all, I was the one who imprisoned us both inside. I can't let these guys outside to go on a rampage. I still need people to be alive to come to my marriage.

Ahhhh, I am so stupidly in love with her. Maybe she will say 'yes' this time around.

Well, at least now I have a reason to go back home. I have to get married to her, ask my friend to supply meals for free at my wedding, and annoy that annoying shit.

Thinking all the stupid thoughts to keep myself in check, I look at the rushing wave of demonic beasts.

Each step they took echoed with thunderous force. But rather than retreating, I raised my voice to match their monstrous roars, "Come at me, you sh*tty b*stards! I got a girl to ask out."

Death– it was not an unfamiliar subject to me. I had already once been revived from my death. After all these years, who would have thought that I would be repeating it again?

But Nah, I aren't going to die today. Yet, if today was to be my last, I would face it with style, embracing the challenge that stood before me.
