Chapter 29 - Not Running Smoothly

The next morning I woke up, not remembering what happened. But when I daydream in the bathroom, I remember that I'm a boyfriend now, but I'm not so happy with what happened. I just feel like I need to do it even though some things in my heart don't want it.

"You wake up early," said Lavin. Usually, Lavin is waiting for me at the dining table, now I am waiting for Lavin to have breakfast together.

"Happy day," I smiled back.

Even though yesterday I was hurt because Galter tried to lie to me, now I feel happier than anyone in this world, even if it's only seen on my face. Maybe I'm indecisive because I've never been in a relationship like this before. I hope it lasts long.

"You're weird today," said Lavin taking the peanut butter and bread that had just come out of the refrigerator.

"I was amazing today," I replied, not annoyed by his remark, and I took it as a compliment to me.

Lavin ignored me with my different attitude today. While getting ready, the castle bell rings and I know who's coming. I opened the door and Galter was waiting in front. I rushed to get my bag and also some things I needed and then said goodbye to go first.

"Hey, you with him?" asked Lavin looking disapprovingly at Galter who was waiting at the door.

"Yes, is it wrong? All right, I'll go first. See you at school," I said immediately leaving first with Galter, meaning I don't want to be disturbed by anyone, I just want to go with Galter today and so on.

Walking together with Galter, I enjoyed it. Hand in hand with Galter, even though Galter said that this is a bit too much but I don't want to let go, at least until in front of the school. Well, Galter didn't deny it either, although he felt I was going too far with this less than twenty-four-hour relationship. Who cares, now I have a boyfriend and I have to show it off to people that I have a boyfriend.

Until class, I was still holding his hand and made people who saw us wonder why we weren't ashamed to hold hands like that. I don't know why I'm like this myself.

During recess, I asked Galter to accompany me to the cafeteria, but Galter said that if we didn't need to get too close at school, people would start gossiping about nothing, and then Galter didn't want me to get into a lot of trouble just because we started dating. You know, some stalkers idolize Galter and Galter has experienced them.

"You don't like me leaking this relationship? At least I want to tell anyone without saying it, it turns out you don't like it that way," I said so a little sad because Galter felt uncomfortable with what I had done. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit because I'm too happy.

"Yeah, there's no need to tell people. They'll find out for themselves, but that's not the point, you're already mine aren't you? I won't betray," Galter smiled back at me, but this time I didn't smile back

"Of course you would say that on the first day of dating, all the boys say that," I replied, leaving the class alone with annoyance.

Galter was about to chase after me, but there was a strange feeling inside him. Fine hair began to appear on his legs, and Galter slowly turned into Senem. Galter didn't panic and ran through me. Though I thought Galter would come after me and apologize, it just passed me by. Never mind, I want to eat now, forget some things that have happened.

Class time, Galter is not in class. I was worried about what happened to him, especially since Galter seemed to be in a hurry to go somewhere. Is Galter in trouble now? Why did I say something bad just now? I shouldn't have said it, I was too possessive in the first relationship.

"Galter? Galter doesn't exist? Forget it."

After the absence, the lesson started, I wasn't so focused because I was staring at the empty bench. Where's Galter? I also sent him a message but no reply, even just read it. Maybe meet another girl? No, Galter said he wouldn't betray me. What's with this overly possessive mind?

"Mom, I have permission to go to the toilet."

"Please."

A very simple reason to go out, but is powerful. Immediately I looked for Galter, seeing his direction earlier, it seems Galter went to the backyard of the school. I immediately went there and found no one there. But suddenly a creature that I hadn't seen in a long time appeared, a wrinkled-faced creature with goat's feet.

"You are Senem," I mumbled in fear because Eldrick said it was Senem who killed my grandfather, I don't know why.

"At… Akh, where…" My voice couldn't come out. It's like there's a pain in my neck, do I feel it now, when my neck hurts so much that there's a chance I won't be able to talk anymore? Though I wanted to ask where Galter was. Well, I just pretended to believe what Galter said, there couldn't be any similarities.

In this unexpected situation, I thought that Senem could have injured Galter and now Galter is unconscious. But every time I wanted to say something about Galter, my voice was muffled, and my neck hurt. I'm having trouble breathing.

"Eiryana, breathe slowly," said Senem approaching me who was having difficulty breathing, but instead the back of my neck became hotter than before. The burning pain is more painful than yesterday.

"Aaah! Sick! Avoid!" I shouted not understanding why this Senem seemed to want to help me. I know, he uses trickery to ensnare his prey and when he is off guard, he will attack. "Ow."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," said Senem accidentally scratching my fingernail until it bled. His nails are sharper than a knife.

Nose, then my arm is now bleeding. My head was spinning. But I have to stay aware because the teacher will be confused why I haven't come back. I stood up and immediately ran from there. Drops of blood, I don't care. Immediately I returned to the school grounds and walked to the toilet, washed my face with water, removing the blood from my nose and arm, even though the blood on my arm wouldn't stop.

I went back to class, and the teacher noticed that my arm was bleeding, because I only used a tissue to cover the wound, and the bleeding still hasn't stopped. All my friends looked at me.

"Eiryana? What's wrong with you?" asked the teacher looking at my arm which was like being cut by a sharp knife, a long wound.

"Earlier, I accidentally fell and scratched my arm on the broken mirror in the toilet," I lied because if I told them about a mythological creature hurting me, they wouldn't believe it.

"I'm going to get bandages and plasters," said Nicholas, who was responsible for the class president who looked after all the students here.
