Chapter 1 - Allen Wilfort

"Man, I hate studying." A teenage boy groaned in annoyance. Due to being an essential person in the family, he was forced to study every kind of literature, from learning something as simple as Manners to understanding other Kingdoms' different histories and cultures.

His name is Allen Wilfort, the second son and the heir of the Wilfort family or may be known as one of the richest and oldest duke families in the entire Aria Kingdom. He was a cute fourteen years old boy with a pair of blue sapphire eyes and beautiful scarlet hair.

"Young master, your father is calling for you," A young woman called out. She was a beautiful young woman with golden-coloured eyes, silky black hair tied in a long ponytail, and an hourglass figure. The most striking thing about her is her large breasts, juicy tight ass and fox feature, aka fox ears and tail.

Allen looked up from his book to the fox woman.

"Dad is looking for me?" How rare, after his mom's death last year, his father never tried to call for him or his siblings due to how much they look like their mother. The maid nodded; "Okay, Kumiko lead the way." The maid bowed her head gracefully before leading him to his father's room.

Allen Wilfort is different when he is being compared to other children, from his attitude to his personality. His parents, older brother, and Kumiko had noticed this kind of thing since he was no older than five years old. He acted more like an adult in a child's body, and so far, Allen's only childish behaviour shown to Kumiko was he wanted to take a bath with her. After all, he didn't know how to clean himself properly and asked her to sleep with him because he wasn't brave enough to sleep alone on the king-sized bed.

Although his family at first worried about him due to him being adult-like after hearing how much he doesn't know how to clean himself properly, which needs help from her and how he buried his face in Kumiko's chest due to being scared of the dark, his family concluded that he just a unique kid that just a bit different than other. To this day, according to Kumiko, Allen still doesn't know how to clean himself and is still scared to sleep alone, making his older brother poke fun at him.

Does his older brother, Noah Wilfort hate him because he stole the heir status? The answer is no. Why? The answer is that Noah loved his siblings more than anything else; he was willing to risk his own life for his younger siblings. Because for him, that is the unspoken rule of being the eldest. Noah also agrees that Allen deserves the heir status more than him, not only because of Allen's maturity but also for his magic capability that surpassed Noah.

Well, back to the story, Allen isn't a child who tried his best to act like an adult like other people around him thought; instead, he is indeed an adult who was trapped inside a child's body. He was an average college student who reincarnated into this fantasy world as the second son of Rouge Wilfort and Graft Wilfort after being stabbed to death.

So far, after years of studying, Allen has understood the most regarding this world are the Lineage and Ranking System.

People are divided by the Lineage System from birth; the Royal and Nobles family have more access and advantage in terms of education and power over the military. Basically an introductory Social class back in Allen's old world. The Lineage System goes from Royal → Noble → Vassal → Peasants → Slaves. Pretty basic and easy to understand. The Lineage System for Slaves is slightly different from others; all slaves weren't born to be slaves but were turned into one. Those who break the fundamental law of the gods will be marked with the slave crest as a punishment, no matter who they are; if they violate the law, then say goodbye to their freedom.

The Ranking System describes an individual's ability and capability; for example, Allen's father, Graft Wilfort, is one of the best knights in the Aria Kingdom before his retirement. His rank before retirement is Paladin, aka the highest rank of the Knight order. The Knight Ranking System goes from Junior Knight → Senior Knight → Knight Captain → Knight Commander → Sentinal → Paladin, while the Mage Ranking System goes from Apprentice Mage → Adept Mage → Wizard → Master Magician → Oracle → Archwizard.

The only way to become an official Knight or Mage of Aria Kingdom is by graduating from one of the five Academy of Aria; almost everyone from every Lineage can join except for those with Slave mark, although other than Royalty and Nobles will have a harder chance to get in because they need to take an entrance exam while the two Lineages doesn't need to take it.

"Young Master, we have arrived," Kumiko said politely as she bowed her body in front of Allen to show her respect. "Huh...Didn't know it would be this fast." It usually takes some time from the third to the fifth floor; maybe he has been thinking much about what will happen to him starting tomorrow.

*knock*

*knock*

"Dad, your son is here. Can I enter now?" Allen said casually; the way he talked sounded more like how you asked your friend's permission instead of asking your father's permission.

"Come in." a voice can be heard behind the wooden door; it sounded gruff, and the tone makes it sound like the voice is commanding Allen to enter instead of inviting him.

Before walking into the room, Allen opened the door and told Kumiko to stay outside, to which the latter just answered, "I understand, Young master."

The first thing Allen could see after entering the room was a pale-skinned man sitting on the bed with a blanket covering his body.

He had blue sapphire eyes and short black hair with some noticeable grey hairs, probably because of his age. He looked too underweight for a person in his forties; Allen sighed at his father's state.

"You called?" Allen asked with his arm crossed on his chest.

He heard from the head maid about his father's state but didn't think it would be this bad. Seriously why does his father want to carry the burden alone? Why didn't Graft ask for help from others?

"Tomorrow is when you leave this house for Shira Academy...I wished Rouge would be here to watch how much you had grown. She will be proud of you."

"Dad." a word escaped from Allen's mouth, calling for his father, who caught the latter attention. "I know." from the tone alone, anyone can assume that Allen is holding back his tears. Maybe he doesn't consider Rogue and Graft his parents because it feels weird to him; he still has grown so much attachment with his second family.

"I won't be able to send you off to the academy, Noah will sent you there and Kumiko will be there for you." Allen just nodded at his father in understanding. Graft probably doesn't have the will and strength to accompany him because he looks so much like his mother.

"I understand, and before I go....Dad"

"Hmmmm?"

"Please take care of yourself; Ella and Lily need you in their life. They already don't know about the mother's love, so please give them the father's love." with that, Allen walked out of his father's room and shut the door.

Ella and Lily are his little sisters who were born last year, Ella has his mother's hair colour while Lily have his father's hair colour, and yes, they are twin. His mother sacrifices her life to bring these two to the living world. Graft is avoiding them as much as possible. Allen really hopes that Graft will become a good father for the twin.

"Let's go back to my room, Kumiko."

"I understand, Young master." Kumiko began to follow behind Allen. Due to being a Kitsune who is known as a species with the most excellent hearing back in the Sakura Kingdom, she accidentally overhears Allen's conversation with the duke. She can't help but feel attracted to her master; she can't believe that a twenty-seven years old woman like her is drawn to such a young boy.
