Yunchen woke up with a pounding headache, and he fought for a few seconds to open his eyes. He sat up and looked around. Am I in a Hotel room? What am I doing here? What time is it?
The moment he put his second foot on the floor, he immediately fell. His whole body was sore and his waist ached. After getting up miserably, he made his way to the bathroom to check himself.
When he saw his reflection, he staggered backward and fell against the wall. His entire body was covered with red marks, painting a clear picture of what had happened last night.
No, no, this can't be happening! Someone fucked me! Why can't I remember anything? Yunchen got up with difficulty and went back to the room. He saw his clothes scattered everywhere. He went through his pants and texted Chu Qian.
He didn't want to call in case he is still asleep next to A-Xuan. A few seconds later, he received a text. So, Chu Qian left with A-Xuan before I left, then who took me to this room and who...
Thinking that, Yunchen felt like throwing up. He sat on the bed to calm his erratic heartbeat. He received a second text from Chu Qian telling him that he was busy and that he would send him the pictures at lunch.
At least his plan didn't fall through, and he'll be able to get rid of A-Xuan. He hopped in the shower, put on clothes, and went to the security office of the hotel.
After threatening them, the security guard started going through last night's tapes. Once they reached 8 pm, all they could see was static until 9 am this morning.
Yunchen slammed his fist on the table and roared at them: "You're fucking security, you're supposed to make sure that your clients are safe, but you can't even make sure that your cameras are filming?"
Yunchen left, slamming the door behind him. "As soon as I take control of the Cao Empire, I'll have more than enough power to find out who did this to me, and he'll pay," he thought.
After arriving home, he went directly to change his clothes and went back downstairs to have breakfast with his family. He looked around but couldn't see A-Xuan. "Where is he?" he thought.
At that moment, he heard light footsteps. He turned and saw A-Xuan trying to leave inconspicuously. "Brother, you were going to leave without saying hello?" Yunchen said.
At those words, he saw A-Xuan stiffen and shake slightly, but still didn't turn around. With a satisfied expression on his face, he said:
"Come, at least drink some orange juice."
A-Xuan turned around and walked to the table and took a seat. When he did, Yunchen saw him squint his face in pain, he could clearly understand since he did the same face when he sat earlier. A-Xuan was pale and seemed to be very flinchy.
Yunchen grabbed a glass and when he finished it, he put it back on the table forcefully. At the sound of the glass hitting the table, A-Xuan immediately jumped up, scared.
Yunchen smiled satisfactorily and said in an innocent tone:
"Sorry, brother, I didn't mean to scare you."
After stammering unintelligible words, A-Xuan left rushing.
After reassuring his parents that A-Xuan was fine, Yunchen left for school. He doubted Chu Qian waking up this morning, but after seeing his brother's pale face and his behavior he now knew for sure that Chu Qian went through with the plan.
Yunchen, who seemingly went through the same thing as his brother, felt no sympathy. To him, he deserved it for stealing his life and taking everything away from him.
On the way to the university, A-Xuan was very content to see how happy Yunchen was. You would think that after what happened to him, he would feel empathy for his brother who supposedly went through the same thing, but no.
He truly is a terrible person, and he deserves everything he's going to receive today. A-Xuan's cellphone rang and he looked at the name, not sure if he should pick it up.
After his night with Wu Jing, he left this morning before he woke up. He decided to pick up when he thought it might be about business.
"Hello."
Wu Jing said without preamble:
"You left without telling me."
A-Xuan said:
"I had to get back before my parents noticed I was gone."
They both knew that it was an excuse, but Wu Jing decided to let it go and asked:
"I want to know if you can meet today to sign the revised contract. I wish to start the distribution of the product by next week. I can only meet today since I'm leaving town in a few hours for two weeks. Or I can send someone else and stay in town until you're free if you'd like?"
At those words, A-Xuan immediately sat up, a bit stunned. Is Wu Jing asking him to decide if he should leave or stay in town?
That means he would want to see him, and telling him to stay would mean that A-Xuan would want to see him too. No, no, I said I would stay away so that's what I'm going to do. He'll act like last night meant nothing until he deals with his dead weight.
Wu Jing must know that Jinyan means nothing to him, so in this whole thing the only person who has someone is Wu Jing, and it's not just a relationship, they're fucking engaged.
A-Xuan answered indifferently:
"You can send a representative to sign the contract, it's no problem. Mine will be there too. I'm busy today, so I won't go to the company. You can also send the truck to pick up the stock too, everything is ready."
Wu Jing answered in a low voice:
"I see. I'll send a representative and a few trucks to pick up the stock."
Hearing the clear disappointment in Wu Jing's voice, A-Xuan felt bad and just wanted to hug him through the phone.
He's sorry, but it's what's best for them. If Wu Jing truly can't live without him and meant what he said last night, he'll break up his engagement and pursue him openly.
A-Xuan said:
"Perfect, I have to go, goodbye."
Before Wu Jing could say a word, he saw that A-Xuan had hung up.
