A-Xuan looked around but couldn't see his husband. He must be working. Yan Wang was sitting behind his desk with a frown. A-Xuan entered his office and sat on his lap.
He caressed his cheek and asked: "What's wrong, my love?"
Yan Wang said: "I abolished almost all the laws Yan Hao made, but just looking at them makes me want to kill him. If we would've exchanged with the humans before, we would be thriving."
Yan Wang wrapped his arms around his waist and buried his face in A-Xuan's chest. "Baby, I don't know what I would do without you."
A-Xuan lifted his head, and when their eyes met, he asked with narrowed eyes: "Why are you saying this now?"
"We are letting the wolf in tomorrow."
A-Xuan said annoyed: "I know what I'm doing. You don't have to speak like that; it's honestly irritating me. Do you even trust me?"
A-Xuan got up, walking to the door.
