Present Time
Ambrose was confused by Astar's words, but decided to no longer bother with it.
"So, how long are you planning on staying here?" Ambrose asked.
Astar put on a thoughtful expression and said, "Hmm... A few months probably."
"A few months..." Ambrose murmured, "If you're going to stay here can you at least guide my new pack members in their training? I don't really know how to train others with my current experience."
"That's acceptable... but I won't go easy on them. Make sure they know that." Astar agreed rather easily, which surprised Ambrose.
Astar and Ambrose went downstairs and summoned Brett and Simon. They were both very confused with why they were summoned, especially Simon.
"I have good news for you guys, Astar will be staying with us for the foreseeable future and he has agreed to train the both of you in that time!" Ambrose said with enthusiasm, little did the two new Werewolves know that Astar De Wraith's training would be the most brutal and traumatizing experiences of their lives.
Both of their eyes glowed excitedly at the though of becoming stronger then they were at present. After all, it was engraved in their DNA to fight and hunt their enemies.
Ambrose watched from the side gloatingly as his subordinates were unknowingly walking into months of hell itself, 'HAHAHA, now you'll experience what my training was like.'
Seemingly sensing Ambrose's emotions, Astar looked at him out of the corner of his eye and said with a sly smile on his face, "Why are you so happy, brat?! You're training with me too but this time it's going to be much worse than before!"
All the happiness that Ambrose was feeling before was gone and all the color drained out of his face, 'Shit!'
*********************************************************************************************************
Three months passed in the blink of an eye. During these three months Astar pushed the young wolves to their physical and mental limits through brutal training. Not only had they been brought to near death multiple times, they also had real combat experience against Vampires that were being sent after them from New York. It seemed like every wave of them would get stronger and stronger. Astar explained that Clan Orilius in New York was merely a branch of the main clan that resided in another realm.
Clan Orilius was a Marquis level clan in the Crimson Realm. In Vampire society, clans are rated with noble titles depending on several factors. The clan leader's strength, total strength, territory, and economic strength. Although, the first two matter much more than the last two. After all, in the Supernatural world strength is literally everything.
Although all the Vampires and Vampire Clan's in the Crimson Realm are technically under the rule of the King, that rule is very loose and the clans are left to their own devices unless they are assigned a specific task. Because of this, there is a lot of fighting between clans to increase their noble title. If a clan with a lower title destroys one with a higher one, the lower clan automatically inherits that title. So although Vampires are 'united' they are actually in a constant and never ending state of infighting.
The titles from lowest to highest are; Baron, Marquis, Count, Duke, Archduke.
As a Marquis level clan, Clan Orilius decided to send their branch level clan to Earth to gain more power and influence over the human world.
Astar has predicted that the branch leader of the Orilius clan may make a move on them personally considering that they had killed every minion he sent, and he was right. Ambrose had just received information that a group of pale skinned 'humans' had just arrived in the town over and were making their way here.
Simon's talent as a Werewolf can only be considered average, which was the opposite of Brett, but he made up for it with his mastery over technology. Now, the entire Pack House was covered with hidden cameras and had motion sensors surrounding the property, alerting them if anything got too close. Not only that, with the support of Mr. Peterson's extremely deep pockets they had a master computer room built which Simon used to tap into every camera in a 10 mile area.
With this new information, Ambrose called his subordinates to the living room, "Now that you're here, we're going to launch a surprise attack on the Vampires heading towards us."
Ambrose then pulled out a picture taken from a traffic camera, "These 5 black SUV's are escorting who we believe to be the branch leader of Clan Orilius. Instead of waiting for them to come to us, we will attack them on the road, catching them off guard."
Ambrose then explained that they would attack on a secluded road where there would likely be no humans there to interfere with their plans. Ambrose was not only training in the last 3 months, he was studying battle strategy and improving the coordination of the pack.
"They'll most likely enter the ambush point in about an hour but we'll leave now to make sure there are no mishaps whatsoever. Any questions?" Ambrose said in a commanding tone.
Neither Brett nor Simon said anything and just shook their heads. They're mental states had completely changed since 3 months ago, especially Simon. He was no longer the wimpy kid that he was.
"Great! Lets move out right away." Ambrose said as he began to lead them out the mansion. Just as he was about to open the main door, he heard a knocking from the other side. Everyone froze and looked at each other with wide eyes as they realized that the motion detectors didn't go off. Simon had set up the alarm system so that if something happened it would automatically send an alert to each of their phones, so there was definitely no way that they missed the alert.
KNOCK!
KNOCK!
Ambrose signaled for them to step back as he swiftly opened the door and transformed his arms, ready to tear whoever was on the other side to pieces. What he saw was completely out of expectations though. When he opened the door instead of the Vampire that he was expecting, there was just a girl the same age as him. He put down his guard slightly but instantly put it back up as he examined her from head to toe. The girl had a mix of black and white hair which gave her a unique look. She also had a great body, but what really shocked him was her face. He felt like he was looking in the mirror because she looked almost entirely similar to him.
"Hello, brother. I've been looking forward to meeting you for such a long time!" She spoke in a choked voice with tears in her eyes.
