After the ceremony, Hazel only had to stay behind and exchange greetings with a few people who were willing to come to them. Many stood from afar or only came close to congratulate the king other than that, no one bothered to extend a congratulatory hand to Hazel as they found it nearly impossible to accept her.
To those who were strong enough to approach her though it was only because the king was beside her, she was grateful to them that they tried. People Drabor and Chase didn't even come close to them. They only agreed to be present during the process and since the process was quickly concluded, they didn't want to be around anymore.
Uril and Zamiel stayed behind to congratulate the mate, although they were yet to walk to them.
