"Will you read a book to me?" Hazel asked and Arzaan looked at her taken aback by her request but he nodded and hummed. Hazel had taken the book from the archives without letting Heidi know about it. Though it wouldn't matter whether she saw it or not, she didn't want Heidi to know that book.
When she first picked up the book and attempted to walk out of the archives she could not. It was as if the book didn't want to leave where it had been for so long. She is only able to leave with it when the little circle on her palm appears and disappears. She didn't know what it was but she was glad that she could leave with the book.
"Let me have it," He said, curious to know what book she had picked though he wouldn't be surprised if it was not as interesting as he thinks because she couldn't read its contents.
