Drabor stared at the king, wondering what had gotten into him to be nodding to himself. And what part of what he said meant that she would be accepted if she had any power? She was a human, she couldn't be like them. Thinking about this, he suddenly realized something and everything went blank in his mind for some seconds before he regained his senses.
"She can't be," he said out loud in disbelief. He looked at the king hoping to hear that he was wrong but the boy just stood and stared at him. It was obvious that Arzaan could tell that he had figured it out. This realization drove him mad. "How long have you known?" Drabor asked. His tone was so cold as he held back his anger.
The girl just had to give him another reason to hate her. She couldn't just be a normal, powerless human whom he could look down on, she just had to be one of those people.
