"Could it be….?" Idril uttered but trailed off when he noticed the same expression on Arzaan's face. There was no way they wouldn't recognize that, not even in a dream, but what was she doing here?
"Karuna," Arzaan balled his fists. Now wasn't the time to leave his mate's safety to the hands of another person. Whatever Karuna had in mind for coming out here, he could not allow Hazel to be a part of it. "Idril, you and Sage will handle the situation here," he said, and they all knew what he was planning.
But still, no one objected. Who would have expected the banshee to appear here all of a sudden? Wherever she was, nothing good ever happened, and they knew that very well.
"Understood, your Majesty," Sage and Idril bowed along with Olivia. They watched as the king spread his wings without taking his full dragon form and flew in the direction of his mate.
