Starting a new school was always scary but going to college? That was terrifying.
Gabriella Smith, a 20 year old girl, is starting her first day at college and she was late.
"Okay Barnaby, I'll be home soon, you be a good boy okay?" She says to her one year old German Shepard, before running outside to her car. On her way to the college, Gabriella gets a phone call from her mother, Grace.
(G will be for Gabriella and M will be for Mom)
(G) "Hey Mom, I know I didn't come over, I overslept and I'm running late now, I'll call you when I get off work tonight and you can come over to the house if you want"
(M) "It's okay honey, I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
(G) "Yeah, just rushing... I'm really nervous and I don't want to be late"
(M) "It's okay, just be careful"
(G) "I will Momma... I love you"
(M) "I love you too Gabby"

Gabriella pulled up to the school, grabbed her books and sprinted into the building. As she made her ways through the empty halls she bumped into someone and fell back.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going. I'm running late and it's been a crazy morning" Gabriella says with a panicked tone.
"Hey, it's okay... Don't worry about it, I'm actually in the same boat, I'm headed to the office to get a few things." The person Gabriella had run into says in a soft tone. He helps her up and picks up her books.
"Have we met?" Gabriella asks.
"Have you had a one night stand?" He asks.
"No, never"
"Then probably not"
"Well, I'm Gabriella Smith"
"Dean Winchester"
"Winchester? You were two years ahead of me in school!"
Dean thought for a moment and then his face lit up. "Gabby?"
"Yeah!"
"You were that girl that always sat with me and Sammy at lunch... You're the reason I could never keep a girlfriend too"
"Yeah... Sorry about that"
"Don't worry about it, your friendship was more valuable than them" Dean smiles.
"Thanks... I think..."
Dean chuckles softly and drapes his arm over Gabriella's shoulder as they walk to the office.
"How's your brother?"
"He looks dead from all the hours he's putting in but he's doing good."
"Now, I know he went into law but what are you studying?"
"Engineering... Don't need it, but... I figured why not get the degree. What about you? What is Miss Smith gonna go with her life?"
"Cooking and Music"
"Nice, musical meals" Dean smiles.
"Actually... That's what my restaurant is gonna be called..." Gabriella grins.
"No way!"
"Yeah, you teased me about it in high school but I actually like it, it's got I nice ring to it."
"Sam is gonna be absolutely thrilled that you're here!"
"Why don't you guys come over for dinner tonight? We can catch up." Gabriella suggests
"Sounds like a plan... Meet me outside and we can swap numbers, I got a new one and my phone is in the car" Dean smiles.
"Okay"
After Dean and Gabriella got everything the needed from the office, Dean showed Gabriella to her first class.
Gabriella's day was going great so far, her classes were simple and easy, she even made a friend in her first class. Her phone went off a couple times and she had forgot to put it on silent so everyone looked at her.

Finally! It was time for everyone to go home, or back to their dorms. Gabriella was one of the first out of the building, she was looking down at her phone and yet again bumped into someone.
"I'm starting to think you're doing that on purpose" She hears Dean chuckle.
"Yeah, you wish" Gabriella smiles.
"Come on, Sam's waiting at the car"
As soon as Sam and Gabriella saw one another they ran into each other's arms.
"I've missed you so much!!" Sam says, squeezing Gabriella.
"I've missed you too, I've missed both of you" Gabriella smiles.
"I didn't get a hug" Dean fake pouts.
"I've run into twice what more do you want from me?" Gabriella says dramatically, letting Sam go to hug the older Winchester.
Sam and Dean swapped knowing looks and Dean tightens his grip on Gabriella.
"Okay, I'm off work now and my parents were supposed to come over but they're going out for dinner, so it's just gonna be us. If you guys want to, you can just follow me to the house" Gabriella says after reluctantly letting go of Dean.
"That works for me" Dean smiles.
"Yeah, let's do it"
"Awesome! Let's go. I'm the red Chevelle across the parking lot." Gabriella smiles.
"Get in, I'll drive you over there, it's getting ready to rain" Dean says, opening the back door.
"Thank you" Gabriella says sweetly.
———
"Try to keep up" Gabriella smirks as she gets out of the car.
"My Baby could out run you and you know it"
"I wouldn't be so sure... She may look small but I can assure you... she'd leave your ass in the dust... She's a little more... aerodynamic"
"My Baby's faster"
"Oh honey, speed can't outdo science"
"Okay... Enough of... whatever is going on here, I'm hungry!" Sam butts in.

Once the trio got to Gabriella's house, Gabriella let Dean pull his car into her two car garage since it was pouring down rain.
"What does a single 20 year old girl need with a two car garage?" Dean asks.
"Well, I fell in love with the house, I could afford it... AND that reason right there... There's no reason Baby should have to sit out in the cold rain"
"Good point" Dean smiles.
"Okay, I can make pizza, pasta.... Pizza... Yeah that's about it, I haven't got groceries yet"
"Pizza" Sam and Dean say in unison.
"Pizza it is" Gabriella smiles.
"Barnaby! Momma's home!" Gabriella calls out.
"Barnaby?" Dean says in a questioning tone.
"My dog"
"You have a dog? I thought your Dad hated dogs" Dean says.
"He does... He doesn't know I have him but then again... This is my house" Gabriella smiles, filling Barnaby's food and water bowls.
"Eat and then go outside Barnaby" Gabriella says, petting her dog's head.

The trio sat in the living room and talked about everything that had happened over the past couple years. Dean and Sam were on their second year of college and Sam has an unofficial girlfriend. Their Dad had passed away. It seemed to be a touchy subject for Dean but Sam said he felt free, Gabriella could tell Dean wanted to agree with Sam but he almost seemed scared to.
Overall the trio had a good night, the boys ended up staying since it had started storming really bad and Gabriella didn't feel comfortable letting them leave. Though she wouldn't admit it, the boys could tell she was afraid of storms, she even confirmed it when she told the boys they could sleep in her room on blow up mattresses. Barnaby wasn't a fan of it so he slept on top of Gabriella.
