Aether's expression changed into a frown, making Marcellus say, "If it's to personal you don't have to say"
Aether shook her head and said, "It's not that, just that this is a tattoo that I got from the first person I ever loved. Are you sure you want to hear about it?"
Aether knew that bringing up past relationships made one seem still stuck in the past. However, Marcellus didn't care about, nor did he know about something as insignificant as that!
"I din't mind" marcellus said with a curious expression, "However, if it is too painful you don't have to share" He said with a smile.
Although he did say it to be nice, he also did it with selfish intentions as well. This seemed like a personal trauma that Aether had, to him, at least.
He didn't want to feel guilt tripped into sharing his own, although that conclusion was completely irrational and makes no sense, feelings usually don't.
