"Again! Upper cut Tyson! Melanie right kick! Jackson grab your partner and roll!"
I watched my younger wolves push through their training. This is what I was always meant to do.
Being a warrior wasn't the most ideal dream in any other pack.. Mainly because I'm a shewolf and the Betas daughter. I was supposed to have "class" and show "grace" and have a complete stick up my ass, but here in my pack.. it's was welcomed!
Even being the Beta's daughter, I didn't have a dream of ruling a pack, being Luna or becoming anyones mate for that matter. My older brother, Ethan was now the Beta and with him taking over for our father, I could focus on my dream. Being nothing, but a warrior.
I'm the commander of our Pack guard, my bestfriend, Preston was my second in command. Everyone was happy to see us in charge. We did place the highest in the Training Academy, so it was only natural to give us the titles we so deserved.
The rest of these prissy little shewolves in our pack were all either up my brothers ass or Bryson's ass, who's the current Alpha.
Our fathers handed the pack down to them a few years ago and honestly they have been doing a great job! I loved them even more when they kept me in my position giving to me by Bryson's dad, Alpha Theo.
"Ok that's enough for today everyone. We will reconvene tomorrow same time for training. Great job today." I smiled at my trainees. They had done a great job today.
"Uhh Kay." Preston nudged me. I looked up at him after grabbing my gym bag.
"Yeah what's up Pres?"
"Tomorrow is the Alpha thing remember? We have to be at the Alpha's house. The Blood Rose pack is coming."
I groaned at the sudden irritation of this damn meeting.
How could I forget Alpha Rhys aka Alpha jackass and his pack of jackass followers were coming?
Preston was originally from his pack, until his mother transferred here when she found out our previous Gamma, Renn was her mate. Renn already had a son, Jake from a previous relationship, older than Preston. So fortunately, Preston didn't have to take over for his step dad.
He used to tell me horror stories about Alpha Rhys. That man is the ultimate dick. I would seriously love to kick his ass! He sounded like he needed to brought down a few notches!
Apparently Alpha Rhys ran his pack with an iron fist. He believed in getting respect from fear, instead of love, but that's why I loved our pack. We were always so carefree and happy. Our previous Alpha and Luna held parties and pack gatherings all the time. Everything about our pack screamed family as every pack should!
Who in the actual fuck would think demanding respect by fear from your pack members would make them actually love you as their Alpha? Rhys is a dipshit!
Oh yeah.. not to mention, at the Alpha meeting before I was handed my title, Alpha Theo said that Alpha Rhys and his father, Alpha Landon thought the idea of a shewolf leading warrior training was the most ridiculous thing they've ever heard.
Laughing like they just heard the biggest fart or something. Like ok dickbags, I'm sure if they ever met me in person, they would have a change of heart. Mainly because I would chew their asses out and give them something to laugh at. Pricks.
Just knowing I would see them tomorrow and I would actually have to be nice, made my whole entire ass itch!
'Girl your ass itch? Really?' Kora, my wolf howled with laughter.
'Yes Kora.. the whole entire ass. Crack, cheeks, everything!' I couldn't help but join in with her before turning my attention back to Preston.
"Yeah I forgot about that Pres.. thanks for reminding me.. I should probably get home and mentally prepare for this shit."
Preston laughed, then shoved me.
"Language Kay. You know your mother and father will have your neck for speaking that way."
"Yeah don't remind me.. you know sometimes I think they forget that I'm a grown ass woman! I can clean my own vagina and everything." Preston shook his head smiling.
"Your mouth is filthy." He laughed.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes, laughing.
Once we locked up the training facility, I gave Preston a hug and made my way back home, where I'm just sure my mom and dad would be waiting with a lecture about how I should dress and act tomorrow.
Opening the door, I walked in and went straight up to my room, set my gym bag and keys down, then went back downstairs.
"Hello?" I called out.
"We're in the kitchen sis." Ethan yelled back. I made my way to the kitchen to see my family, Alpha Theo and Alpha Bryson waiting.
Oh lovely.. a reunion.
"Alpha Theo, Alpha Bryson, mom, dad, brother." I greeted everyone accordingly then my brother came up to hug me. Bryson was right behind him.
"You're ridiculous with the titles sis." Ethan chuckled breaking our hug.
"Right, so formal." Bryson laughed then playfully shoved me. I glared at him then shoved him back before he grabbed me and put me in a headlock.
You would think we were a bunch of pups instead of our packs leaders. Hehe!
"Alright, enough of that you two, come over here and Bryson you need to lead this meeting." Alpha Theo said then pointed at his son.
We all stopped joking and did as he said and sat around the dining table. Bryson sat at the head of the table, pulling his most serious 'Alpha' face before he spoke.
"As we all know the Blood Rose pack Alpha and his pack leaders will be here tomorrow. I want everyone on their best behavior. Beta Ethan, Gamma Jake and I will be outside the packhouse to welcome their presence. I want Myles, Renn and my father in the house ready to greet them as well. Kaori and Ava, I would like you both looking over the meal preparations. I'll make sure there are an appropriate number of staff to prepare their rooms and take care of them this weekend." Bryson spoke so clear and regal when he was being all 'Alpha'.. I was so proud of him.
"This is a very important alliance for our pack. We need the Blood Rose pack's support against these random rogue attacks. Kaori and Preston have been doing a great job with training, but to have a pack as large of Blood Rose behind us would be very beneficial.. Plus we're all aware of how ruthless their warriors can be."
Damn it, that's true..
They did have the largest pack and the most savage warriors out there. Alpha Kano, the Alpha of Alphas has even asked the Blood Rose warriors to come to his aid a few times. I've personally only have fought alongside them once and seeing how brutal they were was sickening. It's almost like they seriously enjoy the thrill behind a kill.
I've never met their infamous Alpha Rhys, Beta Mateo or Gamma Jett, but if they're as vicious as their warriors, I wouldn't want to hold their company for long.
