David's POV :
It was now my turn to score free throws. I came to my position right after olivers turn.
"Wow bro! You did it really well." I said while congratulating him.
"Thank you David. I hope you'll do you best *hand shaked* Best of luck." Oliver said.
"Yes thank you."
After hearing the coach's wistle, I played my first shot. Luckily I scored it.
"Well done David" Dylan and Peter shouted together.
Despite of our fight we are still best friends and we believe in each other and they have always encouraged me.
"Thanks" I shouted back happily.
Then the coach again wistled and I threw my second shot. This time I was not so sure whether I scored it or not but luckily I scored one more point. The crowd was cheering for me.
I was quite disturbed and distracted because whenever I hold the ball in my hand, it reminds me of my ex-girlfriend Olivia because I first met her while playing basketball. We both had so many memories in this ground. Her thought is making me lose my mind.
I suddenly snapped out of my thoughts stunned after listening the wistle.
"All right David if you score this time it means you defeated Jack and will qualify for the Championship. Now throw the ball." MC said.
"I surely will" I mumbled proudly.
I threw the ball I was quite nervous and scared, because I was unable to focus on the match because of Olivia and it made me feel that I'm going to lose.When I threw the ball, it landed on the right side of the goal ring. Everyone was focused on the ball and my hands were literally shaking out of fear. The ball then moved towards the left and landed in the goal.
"FUCK *shocked*..! I scored it." I shouted in excitement and every one started cheering, laughing and applaud.
"Congratulations David" Both Peter and Dylan shouted and came to hug me. We trio hugged each other and started jumping in circle.
"Wow that was a tough one. Congratulations David for qualifying for the Championship." The MC congratulated.
I then turned my face towards the coach. He gave me a thumbs up and also congratulated me.
"All right as you all can see that we have selected our team for Championship so please give them a big round of applause." MC said and everyone applaud.
"While on the other hand, the players who didn't qualified, I have a request for them to not to be disheart."
"And you guys still have a chance because if any one of the on-field players got injured or eliminated during the match then you guys can play." MC said and winked at them. The ground suddenly filled with the sound of audience laughing.
Serena's POV:
We reached the ground a bit late because of our lecture but when we entered the ground, we heard the announcement of MC explaining the match rules. We then headed towards our seats which was kept by one of our friend from the other department. I was so scared because the first match is of my brother.
"Yeh! Relax why are you biting your nails? At this rate you're going to hurt your fingers along with your nails." Hannah said while pulling my hands out of my mouth.
"Yeah! She's right *giggle* Serena just relax he'll win this match." Lily said
"Ahh! Yeah ok." I said nervously.
The first match started and after the ten minutes of breathless game ,team one won the match.
"Congratulations" I sighed in relief and shouted. Also the audience was shouting.
After a while MC announces the second match.
"Well who do you think will won this match?" I asked them.
"I don't want it but I still know that team two will definitely going to win." Hannah said annoyingly and we both laughed.
After ten minutes of exciting match team two won and we trio made an annoying face towards David. Now it was ten minutes of break during which we did some chitchat. After the break the MC announced the third match between team one and team two. I prayed for Dylan because I didn't want him to lose from that jerk David, and luckily team one won the match and qualified for the Championship. I was truly happy.
"Congratulations brother" I stood up and started shouting in excitement. David then gave me a death gaze and signaled me to be quite, but I laughed.
During Break time:
"What was that? Why was he so angry on you for congratulating him" Hannah asked shockingly.
"*Laugh* well he didn't want anyone to know that I'm his sister." I said.
"But we know you're his sister..." Hannah said.
"Because you and some of his friends are exception." I said.
"But why he didn't wanted to tell anyone?" Lily asked confused.
"Well there are so many reasons and one of them is if his fangirls came to know that I'm his sister, they will definitely try to befriend with me to seduce my brother." I said.
"And also he's very sensitive about me and he don't wants me to get in trouble because of him." I continued.
"Awww...he's so sweet." Hannah said.
"By the way, does it ever happened? Lily asked.
"What?" I questioned.
"Have any of his fangirls ever tried to be friend with you." Lily asked.
"So many times *eyes rolled* well once a girl literlly crossed her line. Well! As you know that my brother and his friends are the face of this University but my brother was also quite popular back in School.
I remembered it very clearly when one of his crazy fangirl tried to harm me." I continued.
"But why?" Both Hannah and Lily asked shockingly.
"Well *laugh* because she thought that I asked my brother to keep distance from her. It's true that I didn't liked her but I have never interfered in my brother's life." I said.
"Whoa that's crazy" Lily said.
"And then what happened?" Hannah asked.
"Ummm...that will definitely shocked you both..." I said and both of them came closer to me with wide eyes.
"What did that crazy bitch do to you?" Lily asked.
"Relax guys *giggle* when she was about to hit me Dylan suddenly came and stopped her and also slapped her face ." I said.
"Whoa that was cool! But what happened to that girl after that?" Lily asked.
"We complained about her to the school's Students Right Community and made her transfer to other school." I said.
"She got paid for what she did." I continued.
After that Hannah and Lily started talking about some random stuff. After a while I saw David came and sit a few seats away from us to drank some water. Then I saw Peter and Dylan who also came towards David.
What I next saw made me really angry.
I saw Dylan asked David to won this match at all costs. I was so shocked to hear this because what David did to me this morning, I wasn't expecting Dylan to be this friendly to David. He was so sensitive about me so how would he be so normal with David. I was so angry that I hurriedly walked out of the ground.
Both Lily and Hannah followed me.
"Wait Serena! What happened?" Lily asked confused.
"Yeah what happened Serena? And what's with this face? Why are you so angry?" Hannah asked concerned.
"Nothing...I just don't want to be here anymore." I replied.
"Okay but what happened suddenly, just tell us." Hannah said.
"Can we please go and get something to eat. I'm really hungry." I changed the topic and both of them nodded and followed me to the cafeteria.
About half an hour later we finished our food while talking about random stuff. After we finished eating we went for our piano class. During our way to the class I saw Dylan with Peter and David coming towards our way. I just rolled my eyes, ignored them and walked past them. Dylan noticed me in angry mood. He suddenly rushed towards me and he grabbed my arm to stop me but I angrily removed his hand from my arm.
