It was a cold, eerie night when Ayesha twisted and turned, battling all those demons in her head. She wouldn't have been this restless even the night before an exam! It was that traumatisingâ Her Dream!
It wasn't the first time Ayesha encountered sleepless nights like these, INFACT she would be so engrossed in that mysterious journey that the next night, she would try to start off from where the story ended in her last nap, simply to witness the climax!
Here goes Ayesha's Narration of how she saved those innocent souls from the wicked!
I was following a tall, suited gentleman who kept giving me updates on how to succeed in the sting operation. There were three men walking on the sidelines who were apparently tracing the targets in the Great Banquet Hall! We were on our way to a masquerade ball, hosted by MK, all dressed up in lustrous woven silk gowns and elegant suits. I thanked the lords for finally giving me the chance to look so gorgeous at least in my dreamsâ Trust me, I wouldn't carry that look as gracefully in my real life. The hosts welcomed us in immense grandeur and seated us for MK's much awaited appearance. It wasn't hidden that the man was the most sought-after in the entire country for his chivalry and physique! If only, I could find that man in real lifeâŚ. AAAAHHH He is HERE! MK greeted the guests politely and quickly made his way to our table, obviously to crack a conversation!
"May I Have a dance, young lady? He asked. No sooner did my head give me that look and I knew what I had to do! We grooved to the tunes of MJ and Taylor Swift for hours and hours⌠swaying to the subtle beats and killer drums! I was having so much fun when I began to hear a voice bugging me to the core. "Hey, Ayesha, Can you hear me? Ayesha? Yo Hello? EAGLEEEEE!!!" That was enough to wake my soul up to salute even a statueâ"Yes Sir! Eagle Reporting! What are the stats??"
"We have traced the childrenâ they are kept in the 5th floor; Hawks are yet to figure out the exact location, I suggest you move quickly!" I stealthily made my way to the staircase, climbing each step carefully. If MK had to hide such a huge racket in his own mansion, he would choose a place least doubted yet inaccessible. So a place that is visible, but probably locked by a biometric system. Where could it be? Near Hamilton's portrait?? Or Is it behind the Grand Piano?? Locked in those shadowy cornersâŚ.. OH YES! Near MK's Wax Statue! I FOUND IT! Ok, step 2: Save the babies!
I swiftly picked the plastic slip wrapped on my fingers and placed it on the fingerprint lockâ- "Door has been unlocked, Welcome MK. Number of babies remain 15." As satisfying it was to hear, this meant If we were to save the babies, we'd have to escape as early as possible! I rushed towards the tiny window and slowly pushed a basket of two babies with utmost care down a rope to our fellow hawks who caught my signal pretty fast. It took nearly 20 to 25 minutes to send those infants five floors down. Frankly speaking, My Arms had quite a good workout in there! I tried to kneel out of the window but the rope lost grip and fellâŚ. It seemed it would be too time-consuming to rehang the rope before giving medical attention to the infantsâwhich meant...âŚi had to take the stairs and leave through the main gateway right in front of MK.
With the door slammed behind me, I tiptoed down the stairs, I could hear many footsteps. It looked like the party had ended and MK's men were taking rounds on their way to bed. "STOP, RIGHT THERE!" Oh No! This was the endâ I would die in the hands of a so-called philanthropist. And I slowly fell dizzy, the rods of the stairs started dancing and everything slowly...turnedâŚ..black.
Where was I? Who was that voice? Did I die? I found myself lying across the steps right there just meters away from the main gateway. I guess the panic grew too quickly that my brain couldn't handle it! AND I RAN! WITH ALL MY MIGHT! WITH EVERY LAST BIT OF STRENGTH I HAD! AS FAR AS I COULD FROM THE MANSION! THROUGH THE DOOR!
HaaaâŚ..HuuuhhhhâŚHaaaaaâŚ.huhhhhh the panting wouldn't stop when I heard, in that most satisfying voice, the words that made all the struggle worthwhileâ"Eagle, The Lion Salutes you! Good Job, Agent! We'll meet again! Soon"
And that was it. One of the many enthralling dreams Ayesha had seen! I am sure like Ayesha, even you would keep fingers crossed that they meet soon!
