She couldn't abandon her corpse there to rot, it would be a total disrespect, she took a spade that was lying on the floor, strode around the hut found a good position, and began digging just behind the backyard.
Tang Ming silently joined her and assisted her so that they could hurry up and finish the job just in case anyone stopped by.
"Su Shou.. who did this to you? who was this inhuman to you?" tears fell down her cheeks like a downpour. She couldn't contain her grief seeing her sister severely injured with several bullet piercings.
They might have planned to finish her with the kids but miraculously, she managed to give birth to them before she could die. But what was the need to bring kids into the earth without her existence? How was she going to survive from now onwards?
The weather was already cold but now it turned worse as it began pouring down heavily. She didn't know if it was a blessing or a curse, but why?
Her white tuxedo suit was turning muddy as she dug with the spade in her hand while throwing the soil to the side assisted by Tang Ming, every soil she lifted was heavy like thorns pricking her heart and piercing it into pieces. It was the heaviest thing she ever lifted in her life
While it rained, mud splashed onto her white suit, dirtying it all around. Rain washed her hair down to the bottom wetting her all over, "Miss... Let me do it..." Tang Ming suggested worriedly seeing her soaking in this rain, it was easy to catch a cold.
After noticing she had dug relatively deep, she plopped the spade down to the muddy waters and staggered back inside the shanty. She removed the high heels that were inconveniencing her and stepped down.
With Tang Ming's assistance, they wrapped the corpse with another worn-out blanket and then dragged it out and buried her deeper inside before shoving the soil back, covering the entire grave, she thumped on the bundled soil shoving it deeper trying to cover it up.
"My dear I can't assure you anything but your death sure has shattered my heart, when I'm powerful enough, I will look into your matter." She knelt and kowtowed several times giving her the last respect. She vowed to look into the matter when she was strong enough.
Now, she had to take care of the kids and settle them before doing anything else.
"Wait for me, Su Shou... I will come back, I will avenge you, my dear sister."
Su Mao staggered back assisted by Tang Ming into the hut as she was wet from head to toe.
"Carry that one there ..." They picked up the crying newborns in their arms before rushing away.
They hastily went back into the car and settled down, Tang King occupied the driver's seat while Su Mao settled down in the passenger seat carrying the kids in her arms checking on them now and then.
"Switch the car heater on..." Su Mao instructed her as she got other things trying to warm the kids up.
Tang Ming switched the car heater on and sped back to the highway.
"Mistress... I think we are being followed..." Tang Ming nervously mumbled speeding up but the roads were slippery and the vision was terrible in that weather.
" Lose them... Try to go through the blind spots so long as you don't go down over to the backstreet... Cover your face.. and then, we will find another taxi car to drive us... " They had to be careful and immediately got the scarfs that laid around the car covering their heads. Her sister didn't die from a natural disease but rather was wounded by gunshots they had deliberately shot her.
" Okay.... " Driving through the tiny highway streets, they noticed a hospital ahead through the road mark. They parked the car and immediately alighted with their things leaving the car there and walking over to the hospital.
It was a small clinic in the interior of the village, here, they didn't have to answer many questions and it was easy to bribe the doctors.
Going through the procedures, it didn't take long before the kids got admitted to the pediatric wardroom and tended by the doctors and nurses.
"Where is the mother of the kids?" The doctor strode over in their direction worriedly inquiring.
"I'm sorry doctor... What's the matter with them? When I gave birth, they were just fine..." Su Mao worriedly queried holding the doctor's hand.
"Madam, you are too careless.. we need to do a medical checkup on you to determine that everything is all well... And if you delivered perfectly fine.." The doctor eyed her oddly, he felt like she wasn't the birth mother to those kids.
