I was awoken by the sound of someone knocking on my door.
Who was it... at this hour?
Based on what I could see outside the window, it was pretty early in the morning.
I made my way downstairs and opened the door.
"H-hi... William."
It was an elf girl with silicon-like pale skin, a cute face and long hair. Behind her were two large elven guards dressed as if they were going to ask to collect my debt. I was pretty free today since I wanted to rest before the main offensive operation.
"How's it going, Aina?"
"U-um... it's going good."
"Do you want to go on a walk together?" I asked.
"E-eh...? What..."
"It's fine if you don't want to."
She tucked her face behind her sleeves.
