Eris reached for her husband but she wasn't beside her. She sat up and was about to rub her eyes but someone held her wrist. She felt Gray sit beside her and he reached her face and helped her open her eyes.
"This mucus on my eyes,"
"It's normal, my love," Gray said and helped her clean up with a few more eye drops of medicine. Then, she lay down and smiled at her husband. "You have to blink, my love."
She just smiled.
"You are so handsome." She whispered.
"You can see me now?"
"With the light from the window directly to your half-naked body? Yes, I can see clearly." She pulled his wrist and took a closer look at him. "Oh, wow. You are so handsome!" She giggled as Gray reached her face. His eyes softened as he caressed her hair. His eyes were tightly shut when they started swelling up. He hugged her as tears rolled from his eyes. He sniffled, feeling too emotional in front of his wife.
