CHAPTER TWO
After Kang Shinzo introduced himself the professor returned and assigned Shinzo to his seat.
The professor favors Fheid Drei because he gets high marks, so she decided to let Shinzo sit beside him.
"You'll be sitting next to Mr. Fhied. He's excellent in academics,so feel free to approach him for assistance with areas you're struggling with."
"Shinzo nodded and took a seat next to me.
I felt my heart throbbing as soon as he sat near me."
"Why is my heart racing right now?"
"I asked myself, not knowing what those feelings were, but I shrugged them off, assuming it was because I had run all the way here earlier.
As Drei was thinking that while hitting his chest, Shinzo was staring at Drei with a perplexed look on his face while holding his laughter.
*Pffft* suddenly left Shinzo's mouth while blushing subtly.
Drei notices it and gets embarrassed. His face went as red as a tomato over something so little.
"I- excuse me for a while, I'm gonna go change clothes in the restroom."
I said while I'm about to go out to go to the restroom with my bag while blushing hard.
Drei then hesitated, considering for a second that Shinzo was also wet.
"Should I invite him to go to the changing room?" But I don't want him to notice how red my face is."
Drei decided not to invite him and went out panicking that he slid on the floor but stood up directly.
Shinzo couldn't help but laugh at how Drei was.
"He does know that the professor is discussing something right now right?" Shinzo smirked and continued to listen to the discussion.
After some time, Drei went back to the classroom and realized that the professor was actually discussing topics this whole time. He couldn't hear the professor earlier since his heartbeat was louder than her voice and his brain had deserted him.
He still went inside their classroom trying to hide and slid his bag on the floor to Shinzo.
Shinzo understood what he meant and put Drei's bag in his seat.
The professor was writing on the board and suddenly asked a question but then she noticed Drei and asked where he had been.
"I'm sorry I didn't ask you for permission professor, I rushed to the nurse's office because my stomach hurt so bad, I didn't have the chance to eat my breakfast," I said as I couldn't think of any other excuse.
"I see, you may return to your seat." The professor said even though she was doubting.
Drei went back to his seat. "Stomachache huh?" Shinzo asked sarcastically.
"Well sorry~ I couldn't think of other excuses." The two giggled quietly, but still the Professor heard them giggle in the back and so he asked Drei the question she meant to ask earlier. She teaches Environmental science.
Drei stood up trembling on the inside but cool on the outside and the Professor asked the question "What are the effects of global warming on climate?"
Drei answered confidently, "Temperature rises, water scarcity, increasing fire hazards, drought, weed and insect invasions, significant storm damage, and salt invasion are all effects of global warming"
"Correct! Plus points for you Drei."
Drei took a seat then the professor continued to discuss. Shinzo was smirking because he noticed sweat dripping from Drei's face when he answered.
While the two were getting comfortable with each other, the president, who was seated in the back, noticed them and became annoyed again since Drei was looking so happy with Shinzo. "Tsk!"
