"Pfft! World- ending threat my ass! All the people in this town are idiots for believing such rumors! To think that most of the people would buy that crap! Pitiful!" the owner of the inn throws spiteful words to his own people after evacuating their own homes. He had seen many people leaving the town lately and the mayor even went on his way to talk to the inn owner, but the latter just did not want to believe what was happening.
He gently stood and caress a picture frame, and starts to weep. "How could I leave you, dear. I promised. I promised not to leave you again. I don't want to break that promise and disappoint you for the last time. HIC! HIC!" the inn owner carefully put the frame back and stare at the window. On the other side is the almost empty town devoid of humans. The serene ambience of the deserted town saddens him, reminding him of the past.
