TAP! TAP! TAP! TAP!
A few days have passed and William is woken up by the busy sound of footsteps around him. Being unconscious for a few days made his arms and legs go numb. Unlike last time, William is not able to move. Fortunately, the village chief is there waiting for him to gain consciousness.
"William! Thank goodness you're awake!" she exclaimed the moment she saw him open his eyes. Her drowsy eyes are evident that she did not get a good rest for the past few days, "Hello, chief. How long was I out?" he asks, "Four days. You've been unconscious for four days. We thought you were not going to recover."
William can feel the relief in her voice and smiles. "Thank you for taking care of me. Is everything alright?" the village chief nods her head. "Don't thank me, Amira took care of you the entire time. I just switch with her from time to time so she can rest. She is utterly worried about your condition that I have to persuade her to rest." She confessed.
