Senja and Mentari's wedding was carried out in a simple way.
Only family and close friends were invited to the wedding. Likewise with the principal and two teachers as representatives. Of course they were shocked when they found out that one of the teachers who taught at the school turned out to be a successor in a large company and married one of the girls at their school. However, the school promised to keep this secret from the other teachers and all students at the school.
After the wedding was over, Mentari and Senja went on vacation to Bali at the request of their parents. Because of that, currently Mentari and Senja are already in a hotel in Bali, while enjoying the sea that can be seen from the room's veranda.
"Mr. Senja—"
"Senja," Senja corrected. He was tidying up his clothes which were in a bag, on the bed. "When it's just the two of us, call me by my name. You are my wife now, Mentari. It feels weird if you call me Mr. Senja'."
Mentari glanced at Senja and took a deep breath. "Senja, do we have to sleep together in one room?"
"Why? Are you afraid that I will touch you?" Senja asked back while raising one eyebrow and smiling a little. "If that's what you're afraid of, don't worry. I won't touch you. Even though you are my wife, you are still underage for me. You are still in high school. It's not funny if you suddenly get pregnant while you're still a student, even if the person who impregnated you is your own husband."
"Does that mean, you will impregnate me when I graduate from school?" asked Mentari in a flat tone. She was still looking at Senja. Senja himself froze in his place, before finally normalizing his attitude again.
"Of course not. We both don't love each other. So, why should I impregnate you?" Senja approached Mentari and sat beside her. Both of them stared at the sea far ahead. "Calm down. I won't touch you if you don't allow me. Even though we don't love each other, I promise that I won't have an affair with another girl. I will respect you as my wife."
Mentari snorted, then smiled a little. She took a deep breath. "I really didn't expect that I would have to get married at such a young age. Even though you are handsome, but you are not my ideal type at all, Senja. And I'm sure, I'm also not your ideal type."
Senja shrugged and lay down. He looked up at the ceiling of the hotel room and smiled broadly. "Maybe it's true, you're not my ideal type. But, I think it's not bad to be married to you. We can be friends, right?"
"Friends..." Mentari closed her eyes and lay down beside Senja. She opened her eyes and turned around. Senja's handsome face greeted her. "Nice to meet you, Senja."
Senja laughed and ruffled Mentari's hair.
"Nice to be friends with you, Mentari."
###
Even though Mentari's close friends, Vivi and Yunifer, came to the wedding, one of Mentari's close friends did not come because Mentari had not told that person about her wedding.
Samudra.
Samudra is Mentari's childhood friend who is very fond of Mentari. But strangely, Mentari couldn't tell Samudra that she was already married to her own teacher. Mentari is afraid that Samudra will look at her with judgmental eyes and call her stupid for wanting to be paired with someone much older. Even so, Mentari knew that she could not hide this marriage problem from Samudra. Sooner or later, Samudra must know about this problem.
"What are you thinking about?"
That question made Mentari turn her head and thank Senja, when Senja gave her a glass of fresh drink. The two of them were sitting in a restaurant facing directly to the sea. The wind was blowing quite hard, making Mentari's body a little cold. Seeing that, Senja immediately put his jacket on Mentari's tiny body.
"Thinking about Samudra," answered Mentari. She raised an eyebrow when she saw the displeased look on Senja's face. "Why are you pouting like that?"
"You, why are you thinking about other guys, when you're married and spending time with your own husband?" Senja asked back, making Mentari chuckle.
"Are you jealous, Sen?"
"No," Senja shook his head. He snorted. "Why am I jealous of someone who is immature like Samudra? I'm just a little annoyed that my wife dared to think about another guy in front of me. Mentari, even though we don't love each other, I hope you won't have an affair. Of course I will never have an affair, as I promised before."
Mentari shook her head and took a deep breath. "I will not have an affair, Sen. Calm down. Samudra is just my childhood friend. No more than that. I just feel sad because I haven't been able to tell Samudra about our marriage. Oh, by the way Sen, didn't you have a girlfriend before you married me?"
"Girlfriend?" Senja shook his head. "I don't have one. I'd rather work than have a girlfriend. Why?"
Mentari shrugged. "I just don't want a girl who claims to be your girlfriend and maybe is pregnant with your child, coming in the future."
"Hey!" Senja grumbled and flicked Mentari's forehead lightly. Mentari, of course, laughed because of that. "There's nothing like that. I don't have a girlfriend and I don't have a child. You yourself, did you have a boyfriend before you married me?"
"I have." Mentari nodded. The answer made Senja freeze in place. The girl then glanced at Senja, wanting to know his reaction. A smile appeared on Mentari's lips. "Sorry, Sen. I am joking. I didn't have a boyfriend before marrying you. I did have a crush on someone, but that was a long time ago. When I was little."
"Oh?"
"He is the son of a friend of my father's. He has come to my house several times. We became friends, even though he was older than me. At that time, I was five years old and he was already in elementary school. I forgot his name, but if I'm not mistaken his name is Alex?"
"Alex? A guy?" Senja asked in disbelief. "You're still a little girl at that time and you're already close to boys? You even like that guy? You are really great, Mentari."
That's not a compliment, it's an insult. But, Mentari did not feel upset. Instead she responded casually and laughed again.
"So what? Alex is really handsome, Sen. He is also kind and very considerate of me. But, suddenly he never came to visit me again. I'm very sad. At that time, the one who comforted me was Samudra."
"Do you know where Alex is currently?" asked Senja.
Mentari shook her head. "I never heard from him again, Sen. I haven't spoken about Alex since then either."
Senja immediately cleared his throat and looked nervous in his place. Seeing Senja's attitude, Mentari immediately frowned and waved her hand in front of her husband's face.
"Sen? What's wrong with you? Why are you so nervous?" asked Mentari.
Senja took a deep breath and winced. "If I told you that Alex was... me, what would you do?"
Mentari blinked and was shocked in her place.
"What?!"
