Riddle was eyeing the couple in front of him with a faint grimace. However, Abraxas was just as dumbfounded as Riddle. He asked, looking down at Isabella with concern "Isabella? are yo-"

She leans in close and says, "Play along," as he halts in midair.

Her tone was authoritative and urgent. Abraxas is able to mutter the word "Huh."

But when she passes out in his arms, he strengthened his hold on her. He moves quickly to carry her to her cabin in his arms. They put on their show. While all was happening, Riddle stood there and took everything in. He returns to his own cabinet with an unidentified annoyance that would be better described as jealousy.

To him, one thing was certain: "Isabella is aware of something, she knows. What then?"

Because of her occulmency abilities, he was unable to discover the solution to this puzzle. On the other side, Isabella said, "Thanks," as soon as Riddle disappeared from view.

Simply nodding, Abraxas concentrated on opening her cabin door and forcing her to sit down. He gets on his knees in front of her. For a little moment, they both looked at each other. As he mutters glumly, aware that Rose is dozing off behind them, Abraxas quickly breaks the ice "What took place? How come you did that? Did Riddle most likely..."

Isabella vigorously nods her head and looks intently into his eyes as he pauses. Abraxas softly signals for her to go ahead by holding her hand. "That day Abraxas, when I was injured... I was not harmed actually," she says as she takes it in.

She waits to observe him in case there were any indications of judgement and approval on his face, which there weren't. Abraxas himself reassured her by tenderly pressing her hand. She says, fiercely clutching his hands, "I was attacked."

She declares, and Abraxas' scowl widens in response. He was aware that Riddle was watching them, silently staring at Isabella, accusing them of visiting her in the medical wing, and glaring at them all this time. Each of them had a purpose. He was completely ignorant that anything was happening. He manages to retain track of his inner thoughts and ask her, "How?"

Isabella stutters inconsolably, "I-I don't know."

"Look, Isabella don't worry", Abraxas says sincere as he moves a little. "Okay?"

Holding Isabella's hands, he says, "Deep breaths with me," nodding her head as they both take deep breaths. Abraxas noticed that Isabella was calming down and responded by asking, "Now slowly and clearly tell me what occurred that night, I am all ears."

"I believed I had been experiencing hallucinations the entire time... but these were actually flashbacks, not memories. Recollections of that terrible night. Someone made a terrible attempt to harm me, Abraxas" Low-pants Isabella. "Who was it who hurt you? Tell me," Abraxas demands.

"Honestly, the low light is making my eyesight of his face hazy... But I do recall him being a Slytherin... Dark hair..." she says pausing. "And what?" Blurts out, Abraxas.

Isabella says, "I seem to remember the person referring to my surname as 'Black' with malice and contempt, but I knew no one has any conflict with me besides him"

Staggeringly, Abraxas asks, "Riddle?"

Isabella gives a firm head nod of agreement and sighs.

"What is that?", Abraxas asks after shifting a little bit.

Isabella makes an effort to avoid the subject because she is well aware of the consequences. She attempts to shift to either side, but Abraxas quickly stops her. "What is it, Isabella? Please explain."

As she quickly closes her eyes and applies occulmency to him, Isabella blinks her eyes. She just states, "It's kind of really odd. I'm not sure. He always approaches me as though I was doing something. will snarl at me without apparent cause"

She hesitated, and Abraxas gave her a hard look before asking, "Yet you chose to keep all this from me."

"I want to avoid bothering anyone. I am capable of handling my own concerns "Isabella sighs and says,

"You can, I'm sure, but you ought to have at least told me. I could have resolved this or assisted" Abraxas declares stoically. Due to her embarrassment and the need to preserve his relationship with Riddle, Isabella is forced to stare at her lap. She glances up to see Abraxas giving her a quick palm rub that seems to comfort her in a manner. "It's alright. It's all new to you, I know. with unfamiliar people, away from home. But remember if you want someone to lighten up your heart. I am available for you at all times."

They exchange contented smiles. Isabella assures him, "I will."

With everything going on, they both became more composed. Riddle on the opposing side, however, wasn't taking it lightly. He was annoyed, but he was too self-centered to accept it. Abraxas was still not given a full explanation of the issue by Isabella. She was aware that the outcomes might change their previous friendship. that she never desires. She genuinely believes she can handle this by herself. However, she was trying to get rid of any memories of Tom Riddle at this particular time.

The queasy thought of going back home filled her brain to the brim. She wasn't feeling it in a good way, but neither was she feeling it well either. She was praising her impending schedule. She experienced the sensation differently. She was jotting down ideas about how her entire year had been different from her prior years. Her first encounter with Riddle and his henchmen, her letter, her first fight with Zabani, courses, the Great Hall, an unidentified assailant, her family's reaction, the sorting into Slytherin, everything. She was feeling a little overwhelmed and didn't realize she was crying. But when she heard a concerned Abraxas calling her and felt his mild shoulder tremble, she stopped in her tracks "Hey, Isabella, how are you doing? How come you're crying? Has something occurred?"

She scarcely moves as she nods in agreement while doing so. Abraxas hands her a glass of water to drink so she can relax. She agrees to the proposal. She took a sip and took a short breath before responding, "Yes, I'm fine... just a little overwhelmed." She glances at him, sensing that he wants her to continue "By all this... by how this year was a rollercoaster of emotions for me"

After grinning at her reaction, Abraxas murmurs quietly, "Ah, I see. I experienced the same thing. For us, the first year is usually an exciting time. You know it's the beginning. However, you eventually adjust. But you must remain vigilant." At the conclusion, he lightly tapped her upper arm with his fist. She responds, "Yeah, I know," with a quiet chuckle.

Suddenly though, Abraxas stands up straight and commands forcefully, "On a serious note, Isabella, you must keep your eyes open!"

She gives him a quick head nod of approval as she follows his instructions. "Yes, I am aware that there are some bastards out there. Who are making crude advances toward me "She responds with a cocky gesture, and Abraxas grinned at her. "Good for you,"

After chatting for a bit, Abraxas pointed her for not responding to his earlier letter because it was the Christmas season. She then apologised. She grins jokingly at her reply, "I swear I'll reply now, my apologies for my prior response, Mr. Malfoy." She is so mischievous yet endearing that Abraxas cannot help but giggle. Rose Parkinson finally woke up when the train approached its destination. The laughing pair were drawn to her loud yawn. Abraxas makes fun of her and says, "Ah, look who's awake! Honestly, Parkinson I believed you passed away. You had been dozing off like a pig." Rose gave him a powerful shoulder punch, stopping him in his tracks before he could finish. "Ouch! it hurts! "He declares.

Rose sneers, "That's for interrupting my beauty sleep and making my fantastic dream into horrible reality." As she stops the now-fighting pair, Isabella chuckles. "Hey, stop it! We have arrived. Let's go outside now."

Rose hears Abraxas jokingly ridicule her, "Only because of her." Rose rambles, "Yeah, yeah whatever." By her plam, Isabella stifles her laughter. "Okay, you two, go get your trunks. Families must be waiting for us!" Isabella screams with delight. After getting dressed, The three exited the cabinet carrying their trunks.

Unaware of a pair of chocolate-colored orbs digging holes in their heads from behind, they said farewell to one another and gave each other little grins and hugs before heading towards their families.
