These fellows who had been severely beaten all had defeatism in their heads, and once they returned, they could only drag their feet.
Even if by some stroke of luck they survived the continental war, these minor races would still face retribution in the future. It just wouldn't be Hudson carrying out the reckoning, but rather the future masters of this land.
Whether the East-West Warhammer Kingdoms were restored, or usurped by the Major Nobles of the central and southern regions, it was unrelated to Hudson.
The nations of the continent would never allow the Alpha Kingdom to expand its influence here, nor did the kingdom have any intention of pushing westward. Even if they were victorious in the war, the kingdom's guns would only turn north.
